Great gem off Convoy St. The Peking Duck is fantastic, call ahead to order though cause they make it FRESH and it takes about an... hour. They also make a soup out of the bones which tastes just as amazing as it smells. Definitely recommend! Read more

A full traditional Beijing duck. The skin was crispy and delicious, the meat and legs succulent with all the fixins - the soup... was a phenomenal and delicate broth with big hunks of tofu and duck. Would come again. Service from Ethan was outstanding!!Thank you. Read more

Authentic Peking dishes, remind me so much of hometown especially when I cannot travel. Prices reasonable, do not expect upscale... service - you will be served like in a small corner restaurant in Beijing. Do enjoy the taste of food, and get ready with messyfingers - Peking duck, lamb backbone soup and more.... Read more

Called ahead for the peking duck— AMAZING duck. I’ve had peking duck in Beijing and other restaurants around the US and this... is authentic and delicious. Crispy duck skin, plenty of scallions and cucumber, thin wraps that don’t tear, nostalgic tastyduck soup. Service is very very slow because it’a just the owner cooking and running the whole place. Call early and eatearly to minimize wait times— we got our duck within 10 min of arrival at 6:30 pm. They were out of a lot of ingredients forother dishes but the duck is to die for. Read more

We tried the Peking duck, salted egg yolk pumpkin, and garlic eggplant. Everything taste so good! Especially the duck soup in... the Peking duck set. Definitely a must try and hidden gem in SD. It kinda break my heart to see this restaurant get such a lowrating and don’t have many customers. I think they are really understaff now, just the owner cooking and waitering everything,so I def recommend call the restaurant before visit and let him know you order to avoid the wait Read more

Took a chance on this place when we were in the neighborhood and couldn't get a seat at another local spot. The food was... excellent. The most surprisingly unique dish was the eggplant in garlic sauce. It was crispy with a soft interior and a veryyummy ;-) sauce. They had a decent selection of vegetarian options. The orange chicken dish was all bone. So it was not asenjoyable as the other dishes we had. The scallion pancake was like a Chinese croissont. They had 2 wait people working thewhole place whose English was limited. I think there was someone in the back they went to to get the answers to our questions. We love trying new places and this was a fun adventure. The food was really good. Read more

The soup is rich and decadent. The shrimp with garlic was fantastic! This new spot is worth the time and money. Read more
