Reviews for WUSHILAND BOBA (OO Tea) in San Diego, CA
Finally got to try their Boba tea drinks. A small storefront inside my favorite Asian Supermarket in Convoy St., San Diego, CA.... There was a short line of customers which is ok as I needed to understand their menu. I had a taste for Matcha Green Tea withBoba...they only had green tea bags that they brew. I also asked for non-dairy milk option - coconut milk maybe, they didn'thave it!. I ended up with a Green Tea Machiatto- which is brewed green tea topped w sweetened heavy creme - very good & rich, and with good Boba pearls at the bottom. I'm just going to give it away as I really cannot drink it but I wanted to taste it.The Green Tea flavor was very weak & watered down, hardly taste it, and the heavy cream took over the whole beverage. The staffwas not very engaging, I asked what they could suggest as non-dairy option, and response I received was just a plain "no". Itwould help to train the staff to be more open to interact with their customers, also...have some non-dairy options. I shall trythem again & hopefully, they would have improved service & options. I heard that Wushiland is a famous Taiwan boba brand, and it is called yidiandian in China. The mini boba tastes very good, it... is softer than the normal boba. Also, I really appreciate Wushiland add-on choices - three add-on mixes with the same money ofone add-on only ???? Read more
This is my FAVORITE boba place in San Diego, no question about it. It's important to note that this is located in Ranch 99 and... it isn't a stand-alone boba shop with seating. When they first opened, my friends took me to try it, wanting to see if thisstore lived up to its counterpart in Taiwan (50Lan or Wushiland as I was told). Spoiler Alert: it absolutely did. My go-todrink here is their orange green tea, but I've also tried (and loved) their yogurt green tea as well. Their tea is alwaysfreshly made and you can really taste the difference compared to other boba shops I've tried in the SD area. If you're lookingfor a great cup of boba (and happen to be doing some shopping in Ranch 99), then I highly highly recommend giving OOTea /Wushiland a try! Read more
I?ve been to this place for one and a half year and haven?t had any problems. But today I ordered two milk teas and they both... taste really bad when I got home (13mins drive). I called them back and it turns out their organic milk expired!!! They told methey?ll give me refund and I know COVID situation is difficult for small business but PLEASE!! MILK EXPIRED A MONTHS AGO!! Thisis not a mistake that you can make occasionally. Read more

They have really delicious drinks. Mocha is good even oolong is good. They don?t have a sour or previous brew taste. drinks... and no extra charges with 3 toppings or 4 . I usually go with the mocha latte or roasted oolong milk tea with 3 toppings boba, pearl and grass jelly. ( some people add red beans). The toppings only charge once not individually charge. One large cut sizeonly about the price of @4.25 . So the price is good.Give it a try . Cause its so good, now they even open one in UTC. Read more
The line had at least 20 people in it so we though it was going to be amazing. Unfortunately, the tea was very disappointing. It... just tasted like milk water without any tea flavor at all. They also served it without ice which was a bit of a bummer. The onegood thing was that the boba pearls were pretty good but they put way too many of them! Not sure what all the hype is about andI definitely would not wait in that line again. Read more
