Reviews for World Curry in San Diego, CA
This place is for all curry lovers! There?s a reason this place has been in business for 20+ years, you can find curries from... around the world. My bf and I split the onion Bhaji (lightest tasting fried onions with a tangy apple-mango chutney) and garlicnaan with such a good chew. He ordered the Bali beef (if you love beef, complex flavors and star anise, order this!) It?s oneof those dishes where you taste a lot at once, a flavor journey. I ordered the chicken Keema, which was warm and veryflavorful. We also got HUGE drinks (20oz) a Thai iced tea - great flavoring and not overly sweet and a homemade limeade with ahint of fresh ginger. The space itself is cute and the staff is super friendly. Would definitely go again Read more
This is one of our favorite spots to stop for dinner if we're in PB. Our standard order is comprised of samosas, garlic Naan,... panang curry, and Bali beef; SO good!!! We've also had their karage, and the Japanese style curry; those are both enjoyed aswell. The slaw/salad that comes with the entrees are tasty; good crispness and a vinegar-y dressing! Every server we've had havebeen knowledgeable about their menu options. And they have a good selection of beers and hard kombucha, as well as othernon-alcoholic beverages. Definitely worth a stop! A little taste of each curry from around the world. If you're a curry lover, you need to come here. 10/10.
They seemed to be a little short staffed when we can in but there were only two other tables used so it turned out fine. Ordered... the pork skewers with peanut sauce as an appetizer, which were absolutely savory and delicious. Would highly recommend. Alsoordered one of the two spiked kombucha drinks, June Shine, which was a good choice too. The panang curry was pretty good, and itgoes well with brown rice if that?s your thing. Read more
Great panang curry and Naan bread. The panang sauce is creamy and sweet and the chicken inside was well cooked, juicy, and... tender. The Garlic naan bread is also great comfort food, thick and chewy, perfect to dip in the panang sauce. The portion sizeof the curry and Naan bread were generous. My server was friendly and service was quick Read more

Hands down the worst meal i have had in the USA since i moved here in 2014. It was inedible and looked nothing like a chicken... vindaloo. I wish i had taken a pic to share. They still charged me $27 for it. It was so bad i can't tell you. I ate half a forkworth and just couldn't. Never ever going back. I would rather go to the chicken pie shop. At least that is somewhat edible. Read more
