Best buffet I?ve been to. It?s either that, or I?m just a huge Indian cuisine lover ???? Freaking delicious buffet ?? I?ve never... been that satisfied with a buffet. The people that are there are very kind as well. For $15 (buffet + naan cost), you definitelywon?t be disappointed if you like Indian food. Will absolutely be back. I just paid $12 for a sandwich from Sima?s cafe. Didn?tget nearly as much food, and this tasted better. The picture is only the first plate I got. Read more

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND HEALTH. We have been in San diego for about 9 years and tried most of the Indian food. Surprisingly I just... found about this and buffet being 14$, we had to try it. Half of the items in the buffet are spoiled and stale. Green chutneyjust by smell I realized something is wrong and on first taste I knew it was spoiled. My wife ate a piece of samosa and we seeall fungus inside it. The chicken fry was tasting weird amd when opened the piece, it is all saggy and sticky which tells me themeat is stale. We just stopped eating, paid and got out of the restaurant. NEVER EVER GOING BACK. Read more

Went to buffet, let me tell you that it's great to see Indian restaurants start up buffets again. Virsa has a smaller buffet... options but that doesn't mean the quality isn't there. The flavors standout in their dishes and any buffet offering Indianpickel is a plus in my book. For the price of $13.99 and good customer service, I plan to be back and bring back my friends. Love this place! If you want to really experience the best Indian hospitality, meet the owner Darshan uncle. He will take care... of you like family! My kids 28 and 22 loved meeting him and enjoyed the food so much that during our one week visit we had onemeal everyday at Virsa!!! If you wsnt to have the Besttttttt ever Sarson da saag with Makkey di Roti, let them know a day inadvance and the owners wife will herself come and cook for you.. and trust me .... It's beyond words yummy!! They have a verygood all you can eat lunch buffet too at very reasonable price. They also have space for 100 + people party and have a smallpatio too a must try place for Indian food in san Diego Read more

Stumbled upon this place while driving to find food. Absolutely loved the food and the service. -They have the BEST FISH... PAKORA. Not a lot of people can make good fish pakora -Their planner tikka masala with plane naan and garlic naan was deliciousalso. -Chai was delicious also. -I wasn?t a fan of the tandoori shrimp. The veggies and masala tasted great but the shrimpthemselves were a bit plane. -Fish biryani was ok also. Overall, compared to many other restaurants we have eaten in the area, this place has very good food for vegetarians. And their customer service was GREAT! Read more

4.5 stars. This is good, solid, well made Indian food. No gimmicks, no fancy plating, decent portion sizes, all their laurels... are on the fantastic flavor. Just really great food!! We weren't sure about the freshness of the buffet, so decided on a lacarte. We ordered the chicken biryani, saag chicken, garlic naan and a masala chai. Biryani is fantastic. Would've preferredmore chicken pieces, but the ones we had were beautifully cooked, the rice was light, fluffy and the spices were great. We askedfor spicy and we got spicy! The raita was a sweet contrast :) Saag chicken was not the best looking dish, but the flavors hithard. And the spicy flavor we asked for was delivered a 100%. Really well made. The garlic naan is definitely smaller than someof the other Indian restaurants, but it SMELLS and tastes of garlic. And any other garlic naan lover understands what I'mtalking about here. It is also soft and fluffy, which is awesome. The chai was decent. I needed 3-4 sugar sachets cz I likesugar in my tea. Good way to end a hearty meal. We will be back here for the buffet because I bet it will as good as thismeal!! This is now my second fav Indian restaurant in San Diego, Masala street being the first. Read more
