Considering how expensive the food is, I?m pretty disappointed. It?s not bad by any means, but I?d MUCH rather go to Plant Power... and spend less money for better food. I had the Western burger and it had a distinct ?I?ve been on the grill too long? flavorand the same could be said for the buns. Speaking of buns, the pretzel bun was very overwhelming. It was the most dominantflavor, even beating out the insane amount of sauce the burger had. It was by far the messiest meal I?ve ever had because of thesauce. I must?ve used 4 or 5 napkins by the time I was done. I did like the food, but at $11 for a burger and $4 for sparklingwater, It?s just too much. Read more

Was very surprised on how good the food was and filled me and my wife up. Never tried vegan bbq wings but it?s as close as it... gets to chicken. Also tried the garlic Parmesan fries and veg?n fries they were very good. Got it before closing time so didn?tknow I could add ?meats? and sauces but next time I?m definitely going to try more things. Read more
Today I got the breakfast sandwich and it was SO delicious. The textures are spot on--the 'cheese' is creamy, the 'egg' is... brilliantly just right (I don't know how), the has brown buttery and crunchy, the 'bacon' is thick cut, crunchy and has a greatchew to it. Seriously the best sandwich. My husband, who is a serious carnivore, had the donut breakfast burger and wasspeechless at how good it was. Also, the food is artfully crafted. Its not just slopped together (even though they were busy). The sandwich is carefully layered and built to PERFECTION. The salt is right. The crunch is spot on. The sauces areflavorful and creamy. The bread is soft and toasted. Im so happy this place is in La Mesa because we will be supporting it alot. Dante, the person we interacted with when ordering, is kind, gracious, efficient, and very pleasant. We can't wait to seehim again and get some more amazing food. Read more
This is the place you want to take your non vegan/vegetarian friends to convince them meat is not a requirement to great food... and amazing burgers. The owner here has steered me onto a number of vegan options that I have fallen in love with over theyears. You need to try this if you're in, or passing through SD. Can't wait to get back there and see what's new! Read more

I got to experience this little Vegan Mecca that Grossmont mall has turned into. I gotta say it?s pretty legit! I got the the... Asada Burrito and Buffalo fries, which turned out to be THE BEST vegan fries and burrito I?ve ever had. The other spots here aregreat as well. Highly recommend Read more
