Great place. Food was amazing. Fish tacos to die for. Quesabirria was great and I love their flaky flour tortillas used.

It was a bit busy and I now know why! I'd been wanting to visit this place for a while and oh man do I regret not coming... sooner!!! I ordered the green chilaquiles with an egg over easy and boy was it exactly what I was hoping it would taste like! The tortilla was crispy and the green sauce was very flavorful! The rice was good and the beans were decent. Again, they weresuper busy so don't be too impatient about the service. You can see they're trying the best they can to take care of everyone.Overall, my experience there was great. I felt like I was in my Nana's home... cozy and full of amazing aromas that would laterhit your pallete like bomb! Love this place and will definitely return to try their bistek ranchero next time! Great spot to help with the Cruda. A much needed Michelada and nicely served. The place is cozy and is a real authentic Mexican... restaurant. I ordered the birria tacos along with my drink. Licking my fingers when I was done. The service was excellent, feeling I was meant to be there to enjoy my order. Read more

An unassuming resteraunt entrance with a charming Mexican styled interior. Was staying in San Diego over the weekend and needed... that good, home grown food to get me by! I chose right. Got the house Tamales and burrito with Carne Asada, a great diningexperience if you love the rich heritage and food of Mexico ???????? Read more

Wasn't hungover, but was delicious. Very unassuming place from the exterior, but upon walking in, we are greeted by a wonderful... waitress who sat us. The service our entire visit was fantastic. They didn't mind to explain the menu to us. I got thechilaquiles. Boy were they good. My favorite part: NO YELLOW CHEESE. it is a pet peeve of mine when Mexican restaurants callthemselves authentic, but then proceed to put yellow shredded cheese on top of their beans. Yellow cheese is not authentic toMexican food. My brother is a picky eater, but he raved about the quality and flavor of the meat in his asada tacos. His onlycomplaint was they didn't have regular green nor red salsa. They had these creamy-type sauces, which were good with just chips, but even I opted to not pair it with my dish. The shredded beef (or was it carnitas) quesadilla was HUGE. like seriously. Huge. But last person in our group said it was delicious as well. Wish I could have tried more, but alas the tank was full.
