Cold brew was great but costs 5.50$ ?!? The ?fancy egg toast? literally was on a sourdough, roughly cut tomatoes & some arugula,... eggs and some balsamic on top. Was it worth 7.50$? Nope. Its a nice cafe but way overpriced if you ask me. Read more

I have been coming to this place for a while.... apparently they refuse to take dollar bills now..... at least they did when I... tried paying for coffee... yet they have a tip jar out asking for tips... doesn?t make that much sense!?!? ....also their signsaid they had breakfast sandwiches but the two employees that were working were not trained to make them. Bummer bc I won?t begoing back there anymore. Unfortunately tried this place again and they STILL don?t have cash, they take it, but only if it?sexact change or for a tip. Who ever manages this place is not doing a great job. Read more

Very friendly staff. Darker roasts. Maybe other users we're complaining about the coffee not belong the light, malic type... acidity that burns a hole in my stomach. My gf liked the croissants. They didn't have gluten free pastries. Nice setting mixingbrutalist concrete ceiling with warm wood and lights. Read more

This review is specifically for the food. It?s just not good. I?ve tried everything on the menu and just tried the egg toast for... the 2nd time and it still was no good. Guys, if you?re gonna serve food do it well with passion and intent. Otherwise why do itat all? What?s ironic is a couple years ago (pre-pandemic) the food especially the sandwiches were so awesome. Something changedthough perhaps ownership or management, I don?t know but it went way downhill. As far as the rest, the coffee/drinks level is3.5 stars. It?s not bad. The seating outside is super uncomfortable, inside is not bad. The people are all friendly and nice. But everything else is just lacking. Read more

This place is gorgeous and has such a great location. The staff is super friendly. However, I have gone a few times spread out... over a few months and it just doesn?t have the quality I would hope. The food options for breakfast or lunch sandwich are finebut not great. I have gotten a different coffee each time and every time is just fine but not great. There?s just a whole lot offine/okay. One thing that is really needed are sugar free options for the coffees. I keep hoping that upon my next return, theywould have sugar free flavoring as all the coffee shops I have ever been to always have at least one. But, not here. And, it?sthe closest alternative to Starbucks in the area. So, it?s got that going for them. Read more

I come here for one of the croissants, but especially for one of the breakfast sandwiches. The buns are always fresh baked,... simple and really tasty. Give it a try! Staff is really nice also Read more

Bright and airy coffee shop nestled along fifth avenue in Bankers Hill serving up traditional coffee, specialty lattes, and... quick bites. The salted caramel latte I ordered was smooth and creamy. Besides the coffee, the chill atmosphere is perfect forwork or study. But the trendy vibe and plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating also makes it the perfect spot to meet up withfriends. Read more
