I went for happy hour and finding parking wasn't bad. The place has a cool vibe and there are tvs to watch games. We ordered a... bunch of appetizers and they just didn't taste that good. Definitely one of the staples of Normal Heights. This place gives the perfect blend between hole in the wall dive bar with a... spacious modern location for all to enjoy. The staff is always laid back. The beer selection is chill but I?m still havingtrouble finding any bar that has more than two stout/porter option. Atmosphere is always good here. Food is sort of unique which is cool and tasty. I love that the choices of draft are mainly all... local which is such a plus. The only thing down fall was the server completely forgot about us and we had to get a differentone. ???? But thankfully the server that we ended up having was quick an efficient and got everything we needed. Overall the place is okay. The beer selection is weak and overpriced for some beers and great prices on others. The plates are... overpriced for quality that it is. The children's food came out great and if you go during happy hour at least your can get halfprice appetizers. The appetizers are okay but not the best. No real parking which is normal for the area. For the price thereare a number of other restaurants that do a better job on quality of food. The beer is normal and not special so I am not surewhy so many 5 stars? I would like to know what there specialty is? Update September 19th 2021: I am going back through all myreviews of restaurants to be more stringent and to compete my due diligence of each. I have set forth three rules that allrestaurant will need to follow to get a three star rating. The three rules for restaurants is the keep it fresh, keep it clean,and keep it simple! Getting a four or five star will become harder, but not impossible! Why? Well, people rating poorrestaurants as five stars when they are barely a two or three is commonplace in Google Maps and I would like to fix thisproblem. Read more
New to the neighborhood and have been about 4 times. Dishes are kind of cool and unique like the nachos, 1 bartender was cool,... one time burger was bad (almost cold in middle), and 1 time bartender wasn't great. Decent option for the area, but seems prettyhit or miss. Big scene of employees and owners hanging out. Read more
