My best friend and I had an amazing experience here! There was little to no wait and the serve was amazing even though they were... a bit busy! My bestie had Papas Loco which had: Rosemary potatoes, grilled jalapenos, black beans, cheese, avocado slice, sourcream, tomatoes, scallions and tortillas. We added on scrambled eggs and soy chorizo for an additional fee which was well worthit. The total for her dish came out to about $18.50. I had the Steak and Eggs which had: Grilled CAB Steak, horseradish cream, tomatoes, scallions, rosemary potatoes, grilled rosemary bread and scrambled eggs. My total came out to about $19 even. Withdrinks and everything our total came out to about $41. The atmosphere in the restaurant is amazing and the vibes are on anotherlevel! Not pricey at all for the amount of food you get. The food is so flavor and the Rosemary potatoes are to die for! I'm nota big breakfast eater but this is one of the best breakfast I've had in my whole life and I'm not joking! I would highlyrecommend this place to anyone heading down to San Diego! I can't rave enough about this amazing little place that we found! Read more

Loved it. I'm from out of town and saw a line every morning so figured it was worth a stop. Got there at 8 am and avoided the... lines. The regular coffee was amazing to start with. The chilaquiles were amazing. Get the tofu chorizo add on. I liked itbetter than regular. The French toast was beyond delicious. Go there!!! Seriously. Read more

Good over all experience, the service is great! Only knock is there is a disconnect between the kitchen and the menu. I ordered... a frittata and didn't get either one that was on the menu, it was kind of a hybrid between their two frittata offerings not surewhat's going on there. Server saved the experience so I was all good Read more

First and foremost, thank you Omid for your recommendations as well as your service. He was attentive to our requests and just a... chill dude which made breakfast a great experience. He recommended the three of us order the steak and eggs, and since all threeof us want to be as jacked as Omid, we obliged and we couldn?t have been more satisfied. The steak was the most tender steakI?ve ever had for breakfast - and the rosemary bread was delicious! I split an order of the French toast with my buddy, and itwill forever ruin any French toast I order in the future from other establishments. I couldn?t have been happier with breakfast, and being that it?s only a block from the beach, the entrees were priced right. Thanks again, Omid, and The Mission. We will beback! Read more

I came here on my birthday and was pleasantly surprised. I was given the impression that the service would be sub par but... everyone was Uber friendly and followed the guidelines of the pandemic so they can stay open. Much respect. The food was alsoamazing with decent portions and carrying a nice variety of drinks, coffees and teas. Would definitely return. Read more
