Food wasn't good We paid 20$ for their famous meat dish. The meat was like chewing a gum. Won't come again unfortunately.

It was excellent! Ceviche portion was more than perfect and the flavor was just like if I brought back to Perú! Lomo saltado... was also really good! Fast, efficient and friendly service! Read more

Best ceviche and tallarin verde ever. Being to some great Peruvian restaurants in Orlando, Miami, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia... and this San Diego restaurant is by far the best Peruvian ceviche de pescado I have had. Very authentic portions are large likea Peruvian restaurant should be. The chicha morada It?s also amazing. If you are in the San Diego area you definitely need tocheck this place out. And if you are native Peruvian like my husband you will be very surprise to find on their specialsOlluquito con carne. Read more

I usually go around the US trying new foods to surprise my taste. Today I came across this Peruvian restaurant, first the girl... that took my order was a bit rude in my opinion plus not really helping me with the menu. I have to say food was out fast butwas not even worth it, food warm but tasted like it has just been microwaved. I got a lomo saltado, got Walmart fries, hardchewy meat, and hard rice on top of that it was missing salt. Also got anticuchos which I think were okay. I have had greatPeruvian food, this is not one of them. Chicha morada seemed to not even have sugar. Very disappointed wasted 70 bucks Read more

Came to Liberty Station recently to find some food for me and my wife. We decided to try The Latin Chef. I decided on the... Tallarin Saltado de Res and my wife had the Tallarin Saltado de pollo. We never had Peruvian food before and I can say this wasa good impression. The food was very tasty and was enjoyed deeply by both of us. We will be back when in the area. HighlyRecommended. Authentic Peruvian food. I was little disappointed because I wanted try the fried sweet plantains and JALEA, both were... unavailable and with limited options I had to choose seafood saltado, which was good. I will definitely visit again to try whatI missed. The food was ready in 15 mins. There are few tables right next to the food counter and there are plenty around themarketplace. Read more
