Was in San Diego for the first time with colleagues and went here for lunch, after waiting for an hour and half to be seated, ... most of us ordered pasta and I'd say 100% of us who ordered the pasta weren't satisfied at all, at first when I received mypasta it was still cold and when I asked the waiter he took it and brought it back 20 minutes after, and it was the Hardestpasta I've ever had. I hate to bite hard into the pasta strings. And I just lost my appetite and not only me but my othercolleagues who ordered pasta didn't take more than 2 bites and when the waiter came to give us the check was shocked that wedidn't touch the food and asked us if we needed a box ! And then we told him about how bad the food was , he only said sorry andleft and didn't come back. I've had Cheesecake factory near Disneyland in Anaheim and it was a whole different experience for meand that's why I thought it'd be a good idea to invite my colleagues here for lunch. ( and I realized the reason why the pastaplates are always super hot when they bring them to you, is because the pasta has been made days or weeks prior and has beenstored in the fridge or freezer and when they Re-heat it, the plate becomes super hot, in my case a lot hotter that the actualfood ). Amazing food, great service and nice ambience! We tried two types of pastas and absolutely loved both. Our server was... friendly. I recommend reserving a table in advance as this place can get easily crowded. Read more

The cheesecake was delicious. Their cocktails are surprisingly good too. Even though it gets real busy in there, I feel like the... wait isn?t too long because they do clear tables etc so quickly. Our waiter was professional and although he was new, he went tocheck if he was unsure about anything which we appreciated. Best they go check than to provide wrong info. All the food was goodand no complaints from the whole table. The pancakes were a good choice, too. Recommend! Read more

Arrived around 500p place very busy. Reserved able for two and be seated around 519. Server Dylan very nice. Ordered beer and... fries as appetizer. They were hot and crispy. Then ordered main meal. Took about 15 min to arrive. I ordered rare steak Dianewith mashed potatoes. Wife got steak medallions with vegetables. When my steak arrived the steak was medium well. I told waiterand he returned it to be redone. During this I pointed out that my beer had a gnat in it. Waiter apologize and got me anotherand said no charge. Then my steak Diane arrived and well it was so rare that it was cold. I couldn't eat it. Waiter reported tomanager and they removed from bill. Wife said her steak very good. Waiter very nice and manager did come by to apologize. Ithink this was bad night for this restaurant at least in my opinion. Will probably not return. Read more

After going to sea world I was some delicious dinner with my family before they leave San Diego. So I chose cheese cake factory.... We went and was told that we would have to wait 35 -45 minutes for us to be seated. We got very lucky and was being texted tocome in after half an hour. We got seated outside by the patio heater and stayed pretty warm even though it was a little chilly.Damon b. Was our server and seemed very nice. He took our drink and order and decided to place our meals right away so we don?tsit waiting for our food to long because it got very crowded after being seated. Damon and I had a really good conversation andprovided excellent customer service to my table. Damon went the extra mile to even make the kids smile and we had all refillsand condiments being provided when asked without waiting so long. Excellent food quality as well. Today I ordered thechicken/steak Diane and was on point. Very impressed with the meat. I like my meat medium well and got it perfect. I willdefinitely recommend this location and ask for damon and hope the rest gets the same service. Read more

All time favorite restaurant. They have few vegetarian options in appetizers (definitely try avocado eggroles) and pasta ( loved... four cheese pasta). It's always a wise option to have less food if you want to enjoy cheesecake. Read more

Just went back here again after several years or so. Most everything seems about the same except for the food. Decor, ambiance,... service, the set-up? But, the food seems to be less volume and just didn?t seem as flavorful or as generous as my last timehere. The Bang-Bang Chicken and Shrimp was a favorite so I ordered it. But it was kinda disappointing. As my sister asked,Where?s the ?bang?? There wasn?t any. Being a Thai dish, you expect some heat, spicy-ness, strong flavors, etc. It wasn?t bad, just underwhelming. Not what it was years ago. I know I can?t generalize that all the food quality isn?t as good as back then. The Thai Lettuce Wraps were pretty tasty, maybe a little less volume. The sauces are still good. But, my favorite of the dinnerwas the Crispy Brussels Sprouts! This is a real winner. It?s got this gentle crispness with a salty crunch that melts in yourmouth. Kind?ve a sweet n salty tease. I wanted to eat the whole thing, but I had to share it with my sisters! It?s a mustappetizer. I was surprised to drive up and find it was just as hard to find parking as before. There?s still a crowd, even w/Covid! Definitely wanna get reservations the day or hours before your arrival. This restaurant and the nearby venues are stillbustling w/ plenty of patrons on a Sunday late afternoon. Read more
