I was told we were eating at the Kings Inn, I get there it?s a motel. Walk in it?s a Mexican Restaurant, called The Amigo Spot.... It?s a very good restaurant very flavorful foods, and extremely friendly staff. This is not a normal motel restaurant, food washomemade, very good and reasonably priced for what you get. Unbelievably friendly staff. We ate at a Cuban, Brazilian, theBrigantine(2). The Amigo Spot was the one place you could have a conversation, food was as good or better and the staff werefriendlier, and efficient. If you are staying here why fight traffic, food is great. If you live here it?s worth a visit. Read more
Fun on the inside, kinda wished we had eaten there instead of picking up takeout. The inside looked like one of those fun... colorful Mexican restaurants in movies! Food was good, had more flavor than looks. Read more
Come on a Tuesday! The tortas are amazing! I definitely recommend the Pollo asado torta. Wish I had these back home. Soooooo... good. Also, my man Armado works his butt off at the bar. Wish I had pics of the tortas I ate, but they were too good to set downfor that long. Read more

Stayed at the motel on my way up the coast. Read the reviews and was skeptical, but had to try the attached restaurant as I?ve... had Mexican food all over California (Born and raised in San Francisco) and the Southwest and think I have a good idea what goodand great Mexican food is. (I?m a serious burrito freak and had the Carne Asada ?Macho? burrito...never seen one so large!!-Bought a cooler and ice pack to save the rest and babied that leftover for two overnight stops before I had access to amicrowave!!) My verdict is this was among THE best I?ve had to date. Seriously. Plus our waiter, Antonio was one of the mostpersonable waiters I?ve experienced. He was extremely proud of the food he served and his service was excellent. If you likeMexican food and are anywhere close to this place, you?ll be doing yourself a serious disservice if you don?t try thisrestaurant. Read more
LET ME JUST SAY THIS... This is by far the best Spanish Food i have eaten so far. Im from the Inland Empire and i like to come... to San Diego every now and then to vacation and try new food spots and I'm glad i found this place. The service is great and mywaiter made me feel comfortable, I appreciate your professionalism senior i really do. Some Spanish places i go to they'resometimes rude and the food is half cooked but not this place. If you've been to SD and haven't eaten here you need to ASAP. Place was nice and cozy. I was outside and weather was nice out. Be was delicious. I got me the chimichanga and was delicious.... Rice and beans were on point. Def a spot you should consider if ever on this side of town. Read more
Yearly trip out from Alabama to visit my old ship, USS MIDWAY this will be a regular stopping spot. Great food. Great drinks... and great staff! No complaints! See ya next year Read more
