Such a cool spot that I've frequently just passed by for all these years. I love the selection of more traditional dishes.... Prices are reasonable and tssted really good. I love how they categorize the American dishes! Which of course the wifey and thehomie ordered off of, honey walnut shrimp which was super crispy and a more honey forward sauce and the homie got his usual beefchowmein , they still cater to everyone! Now when I see woodcarving mushrooms with black vinegar I almost always order those. Weshared some Xiao long bao they weren't bad they still had a bit of broth in them, hate when they have no broth. The map tofu wasgood, nice silky tofu that gives you the mouth numbing from the schezuan peppercorns. Such a good find we will definitely beback! Read more

Super great place for authentic, delicious Hunan food! My favorite was the Eggplant with egg dish, it's hot, spicy, and packed... with flavor! Also you can order everything to your table on your phone, super convenient ???? Read more

I went here twice during my stay in San Diego! Ordered multiple dishes (with my special mild spicy requirements), they taste... pretty good! The fish fillets with tofu is highly recommended! Both the fish fillets and tofu are super soft! I forgot the nameof the beef dish, it is super delicious even if it is a little too salty. The other two dishes are ordinary, and I don't likethe fried fish (which is fried too much and the fish is thin and I hardly eat some fish meat. I recommended this restaurant tomy friends because of the first two dishes. The menu pictures look pretty good, I would recommend to order by the pictures! Read more

I tried this place several times already, it is still one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in San Diego. My favorite fishes... are Eggplant in a Jar, Spicy lamb, mapo tofu, the Fresh Pepper Whole Fish and the cucumber salad. I also tried their dumplingsbefore, which was quite great as well. I will recommend you come to give a try. Hunan food is really well known and it is a bigtype of classic foods in China! Read more

Update: both chicken soup are the best especially when I feel down, or pack as gift for a good friend that not feeling well.... This is authentic Chinese, bones, brittle, herbs are by default, that's what made the taste real. There are other dishes withoutthem and more Americanized too. The best Chinese restaurant in town! Material is so fresh. I was worried that I don't eat muchspicy food but it turns out great: highly recommend the dark chick soup and steamed fish, of course the special eggplant dishthat they sold more then 20 thousand times - still delicious when not spicy. Just to be picky, I hope the fish has less scalesby the head and tail - if you do plan to eat them, ask the friend waitress. Read more
