Good place for a nice bowl of ramen. The broth is rich, flavourful and on point. The noodles are firm and tangy too. I like the... pork meat, there's fat on it and that elevated the taste. There are also others staple side dishes available, similar to otherramen stalls. I like the gyoza and karaage. Both dishes are pan fried and fried respectively to perfection. Area is alsoconveniently located. Thumbs up! Read more

This spot hit the spot for vegan/vegetarian ramen! It's hard coming by delicious non-pork/beef/chicken options for ramen... sometimes and I'm so glad the other place I wanted to go to was closed. My Lyft driver suggests Tajima and it did notdisappoint! The ramen broth is so flavorful it felt like a meat broth. The noodles weren't over cooked, the tofu was perfectlycrispy, and the eggs . I went two nights in a row :) Read more

Savory ramen spot in downtown San Diego that serves small bites, poke, and both classic and unique takes on ramen. My personal... favorite is their Mexican fusion carnitas ramen. Plus don?t miss happy hour for discounts on appetizers. Read more

Ramen - 5/5 - spicy broth was lightly spicy, very thick and creamy. The noodles had a slightly thick feel to it. The ground... pork was very flavorful. Ordered extra pork belly for $3 Chicken karage 5/5 - perfectly fried. The meat was tender and juicy. Battery was crispy. Service 5/5 - everyone was super polite and service was quick. My only "complaint" is I'd rather notorder and pay as I enter the store, but that's a preference. It forces you to tip before you've eaten, tasted the food, oractually gotten service. Read more

Friendly and Fast service! Ordered the Tempura Brussel Sprouts (tempura batter was crispy and light, brussel sprouts well... cooked) Tajima Fries (comes with carnitas, spicy mayo, mozzarella cheese. Wasn?t a huge fan of the crisped cheese layerTexture-wise but the flavor was great) and Spicy Tuna Hand Roll (great flavor, pretty spicy if you?re not used to spice) Orderedthe Tajima Ramen (pork belly/pork broth). Was delicious. Pork belly was super tender and thick. Ordered the Melon MatchaCalpico drink as well, had to order two, was awesome! Price was I?d say, a tad bit pricey but worth it. Serving sizes arefilling but not huge. Left very satisfied. Would definitely come again! Read more

We came here for lunch because we saw it had good reviews and I'm a big fan of tonkotsu ramen. My husband and I both got the... Tajima Ramen, which is a tonkotsu broth, and we both got it with the pork belly. My son got gyoza and chicken fried rice.Everything was delicious. The broth on the ramen is comfortably the best I've had in California so far and the pork belly waslovely. Very satisfying. Wish I had more time to try each ramen, but just here on a short visit. Got the Tajima ramen, Spicy Seseme Ramen and the spicy tuna hand roll. They have changed(gotten worse) since the last time I... came here in Feb 2021. Or maybe my ramen standards have increased. The broth was nice but the noodles were horrible. It was lkeinstant ramen noodles. Another thing is that you have to order first, pay, and then get seated and get your food. I dont mindthat but it seems like a fast food restaurant culture like Mcdonalds or KFC. no one came in and checked on us either. No onewas rude or anything btw. They were just busy I guess. Read more
