They gave me expired salsa on Sunday, November 13, 2022, and I ended up getting food poisoning. If you get a salsa that has... ballooned or pops and releases air when you open it, don’t touch it. A learning experience for me. It’s disappointingbecause it’s pretty good food, but if they can’t keep track of expired items I’m not going to risk going again and havesomething worse happen to me or my family. Read more

The cash register lady was not friendly at all as we ordered, attitude and terrible tone of voice. We had just finished eating... when “Very rudely” she told us to leave because it was closing time, we still had our drinks. There were other customers atthe place but she only approached us to kick us out. It literally felt that she kicked us out very disrespectfully. Love this place for a quick TJ-style taco. Not the best setting, but - besides truly great adobada tacos - handy, and the people... working there are exceptionally nice. A perfect spot to stop and grab a bite if you're running errands in the Barrio. Read more

Not worth visiting, fish tacos had very bland fish (had some fish alone) and the birria quesataco was horrid. Probably couldn't... have eaten the birria without salsa, the meet was really tender, but the flavor was horrible. Food was well prepared, but eventhe rice and beans flavor was off and meals are expensive for the quality received, so I won't be returning. Read more

Great authentic Mexican food! Hand made tortillas and fresh meats

They got rid of their $6 lunch specials and provided same for $10.50. At one visit, I watched the cook take my lunch out of the... MICROWAVE and then added rice and beans. It was MICROWAVED! The front of the property, actually that whole center needs aJanitor as it is always incredibly filthy and disgusting. I was hoping it would be our go to place, however it was just okay. Humberto in Golden Hills still leads the pack. The Virtual... broth was tasty, but the meat was super chewy, it should be tender. The tacos were good, but not enough guacamole and way tomany chunks of onions. I'll give them another try, but maybe order some burros or tortas. Read more
