Smooth jazz atmosphere, warm and friendly customer service, flavor packed dishes...this is a top restaurant of excellence all... around! I had the miang kham w/tofu and the perfect sized cup of Tom kah w/vegetables! The appetizer was layered with flavorsthat opened up to each other from toasted coconut to ginger and lime all wrapped in a crispy healthy lettuce leaf. The soup was14oz of comfort and complementing flavors of delicate sweet coconut milk and light tang. I followed with a refreshing andsoothing cup of hot jasmine tea and left feeling satisfyingly nourished and healthy! Read more

Great place with friendly service! We had a delicious dinner, which we definitely can recommend. Be careful with the spicy level... and start lower. My level 4 was a way too spicy even if I like spicy food. Our dessert was great and special as well! Read more

Found this place by accident when I can for lunch at the cafe across the street but it was too busy, but I felt lucky because... this place is amazing. Food is delicious and authentic but with a twist, the combination of flavors and the balance in eachdish calls for a round of ????????????. Service is great, hosts are welcoming and friendly prices are too low, for the level ofThai food serve here they should charge high end prices but the place is so modest and so are the people who owns it apparently. This is a hidden gem as far as I?m concerned, and if you?re around SD whether local or not just come here you won?t regret it. Had dinner with family. Decided to go all vegan and ordered fried rice, green curry and lo mein noodles. The serving size is... pretty large. Food was very flavorful and service was excellent. Read more

Had their spicy noodles.. don't let the basic sounding dish name fool you-it is anything but. A 4 on the spicy scale was perfect... for us, it is infused with many pepper tastes and of course, Thai food's signature basil. Would highly recommend! Food isportioned to be just enough, and you won't leave feeling too full. Expect to spend about 20 bucks a person here. The server hasa charisma about her. Just so nice! Coupled with a nice atmosphere, I would defo recommend everyone to try this place out. Read more

Service was great and the place is very cute and clean. The entry was this chicken, surprisingly a big portion for appetizer and... taste perfect! We asked a big soup with coconut sauce and was delicious. The original pad Thai was good but not great why I amnot giving a 5 ? I always eat pad thai in thai restaurants since is my favorite dish. However, this one had the noodles too thinwhich made it get chunks like over cooked noodles, and not enough of peanut. So it was my only bad point. Read more

What went beyond amazing for me was the flavor profile of authentic Thai food. I can?t tolerate any spicy which when removed can... sometimes reveal bland food. What a delight to have a dish that was a flavor explosion of perfectly balanced seasonings, freshvegetable medley accompanied by soft steamy brown rice. Kudos to Sukko Thai - I will definitely be back soon! Oh yes, I orderedthe mock duck with cashew. Read more

This place becomes one of my favorite Thai food restaurants in San Diego!! We came here for a simple dinner, but it turns out to... be a great dinner. The foods here are so so so delicious. I highly recommend all we ordered tonight. Which is miang kham, youngcoconut soup and pompano. Especially the pompano, it tastes like the Pom fish that my mom cooked when I was little. The fish issuper fresh and the ginger sauce is right good and not overly heavy. I'll come back for sure to try other dishes. Plus theservice here is very sweet and friendly. Read more
