Came here not knowing what to expect. To my surprise there was no wait and not packed as you would predict at 11am on sunday. I... ordered a cinnamon waffle and chicken. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, the best fried chicken Ithink I've ever had. The waffle had amazing flavor not to mention their varieties were great, fruity pebbles, chocolate chip, cinnamon you name it. This place is a hidden gem, definitely. Only catch is everything is ordered separately and can be a littlepricey. Other than that I highly recommend! Read more

Bruh?. I paid $120 cuz I got an array of items on their menu. It doesn?t come with sauce, you have to pay 1.50 for an ounce of... sauce. The food taste good but I got an order of biscuits to go with this big ol bucket of gravy they got me, they gave me 1biscuit! The food is good but the incredibly small portion is ridiculous for a such an expensive menu. Read more

Excellent country fried chicken. The chicken is well done. Crispy and juicy. Decent beer selection. My only issue is that sauces... cost extra. Get the chicken skins and some hot sauce. Read more

The two stars was because the cashier was polite through all of this, otherwise it would have been a one star. I would not... recommend coming here and if you do. Do not order anything fried. When I stayed in San Diego years ago I loved this place butthe food has truly gone down hill since then especially to be so expensive. I came for a visit today and ordered three wholewings fired crispy to go.When I got to my hotel I opened up my food to eat my chicken and there was so much grease inside thechicken, the skin was fried but the meet was slimy. This is usually a sign that chicken is fried to fast or bad/spoiled chickenhas been fried from what someone had told me who owns a restaurant. I went back into the restaurant with my food and told thecashier and asked for chicken fingers instead and she told me that they do not take food back once it has left the building. Itold her I never heard that before and that is odd because how would a person know something is wrong with their to-go orderunless they got home and started to eat it? She understood what I was saying and went to ask her manager after I politelyinsisted that my order was not ?eatable?. She came back and said that the manager said they will only swop the three wings foranother batch but not anything else. I had no choice so I had to agree. I did not want wings again bc if they messed them up thefirst time then my thought was they would do it again. They did mess them up again and it was the same issue, the outside wascrispy but the inside extremely slimy and field with grease. I just threw them away and lost my money bc they did not want toallow me to change my order. Read more

How in tarnation have I not reviewed my beloved StreetCar?! I?m ashamed. Go here. The chicken tendies are the best in town.... Collard greens are on point. Might be addicted to their pickle chips. They have like 8 different house-made sauces and they areall amazing. Everything is perfect, and it?s the only place I?ll go when I?ve got a Sweet Tea craving, Bc that sh** is NOT easyto find in San Diego. Read more

Loved this place! The bloody AF was a meal in itself. The chicken leg was the hottest thing I've every had, but it was a good... burn. My fried chicken sandwich was da bomb. Will definitely go back. Staff was delightful. Read more

I'm definitely coming back here for more! Good portions to fill you up with good flavors. Two cocktails around $12 each, a slice... of carrot cake around $10, and the two meals posted took us to $79 before tip. I'm definitely excited to try other menu items.I'm not going to lie, I was nervous about the service as I have not heard great things; however, we got our food very fast andenjoyed our late Monday night service.
