From the moment we walked in Daniel has taken good care of us! We were sat fast and he was considerate about the cold, putting... us under a heater outside. Daniel was able to take our order by memory and delivered everything in a timely manner! We orderedso much that they were delivery things I forgot we ordered ???? All of the staff here have been very friendly and attentive.Making sure to fill out drinks and clearing dishes as we finished with them. Can?t wait to come back again!! Read more

Came for dinner and it was great! We walked in and were immediately sat. Kristine was our server, she was very kind and... efficient. We order the chow menu, boa buns, chili dumplings, soup dumplings, and won ton soup. It came out in less than 10minutes. Everyone was amazing! 10/10 definitely will be back <3 Read more

Overall it was a good experience. Good customer service, good food but could be better. The bulgogi bowl is okay but somehow the... meat is a little dry. We liked the soup dumplings. Small restaurant so waiting time can be 20min+ during weekends. Parking canbe tough on Friday night in this area. Read more

Waited for 1 hour on Friday evening 6 pm. Limited staff but food is good. Parking might be a problem took some time to figure... out parking. Ordered shrimp dumplings, chicken bao, chicken roll, spicy chicken wings and Thai tea. Loved the shrimp dumplings, melted in my mouth, chicken roll was made of scallion pancake and it was crunchy amazing texture, bao bun was savory, just thechicken wings were not spicy and was very oily. I was super excited to try this place, I think I hyped it to much because I was kinda disappointed. We tried three types of... ramen, it was good but sloppy and the noodles were one glob like no care was put into plating. We tried the pineapple shrimpfried rice, it was okay heavily curry flavored. The pork bao was super flavorful but taste like any other I can get around townand the chili wontons were great. The only thing that will bring me back here is the Kawaii custard buns, they were deliciousand not overly sweet. Also the service wasn?t the best, no attentiveness for customers and the restroom was oddly dirty with arandom toilet seat cover in the corner. If the service was better, maybe I?d go back but for now, pass. Read more

TLDR: Not bad. If I was in a city that did not have a lot of Asian food, this place would be awesome. With that being said,... there are many places in San Diego that make better dishes. Environment: It?s clean but has minimal seating inside. They alsohave a deck outside with heated lamps. The designs with piggies everywhere was cute. Service: Very nice waitresses. They wereattentive and very helpful. Food: Not bad. See below for full dish details: Piggy Bao: Their bao was really good. Thebreading was soft and fresh. The pork belly was moist and tender. Worth it. Chili Wontons: We may be spoiled by Din Tai Fung(the best dumplings in SD). Their chili sauce here was quite vinegary. Skip it. Soup Dumpling: Decent. It tasted like soupdumplings should but just seemed a bit dry. It also came with vinegar instead of soy sauce. Not sure why. I?d rather getthis at Shanghai Saloon or Din Tai Fung. Skip it. Spicy Ramen: The flavor was good but the noodles were soft like instantramen. Very oily. Santouka inside of Mitsuwa has better ramen. Skip it. Red Braised Pork Belly: Good. Flavorful but canbe quite rich. The pork was tender. This seemed more like a traditional Vietnamese stew dish with and egg. Worth it. KawaiiBuns: delicious! Besides the cool design, the custard has a subtle sweetness and was very moist. Definitely worth it. Read more
