I order through Starbucks app for my wife as this location is on the way to her work. In the mornings it can get pretty busy. I... usually will order 8-10 minutes before my wife arrives at the store. Sometimes the app doesn't accept mobile orders. One timelast year 2021, I ordered a drink and after about 10 mins of waiting I asked them to check if they had the order. Immediatelythey checked and apologized that they missed it..or maybe the mobile app was just being funny. They kindly apologized then mademy drink priority and I got in like a minute, and they gave me a free drink voucher! Thank you! Today, mother's day 2022 I dida mobile order for my wife when she was on her way to work at the salon. After she got there and waited 10 mins(total 18-20minutes since mobile order placed) she asked the barista to check on her order. The barista, her name is REN, responds withsomething along the lines of "I'm not in charge of espresso" and walks away to do something else. My wife a little confused nowwaits until another worker approaches, then asks him about her espresso. As my wife is asking the other worker, REN walks up andcuts off my wife and says something along the lines of " mam I already told you if you don't want to wait, or you're not happyyou can go to the cashier and get a refund." Now my wife is really confused and doesn't know what to say. The other workerquickly checks for the espresso, apologizes that they missed it and made her drink first right away. I like coffee. I like Starbucks. I don't like this Starbucks. They close early (compared to other locations), they don't have... cushioned seating (like most other locations do), and it's usually very warm (sometimes hot) inside the store. The storemanager told me it's a problem with the AC system. It was hot in here BEFORE the Covid pandemic. I really wish that they wouldupgrade this location (it's my neighborhood Starbucks). ????
