We just left the drive thru and had the best customer service experience. We had the pleasure of being served by Barista Kien... which gave us superb recommendation on Chai tea and just had such a pleasant voice. We?ve Been to many Starbucks and never havewe received such an outstanding service or had an attentive genuinely skilled Barista such as Kien. Cute little Starbucks close to the hotel we stayed at. All the times we went there the girls have been very friendly!
My wife and I love this Starbucks! Although the parking lot is often crowded and chaotic (we feel we're more likely to get in a... fender bender here than at most other Starbucks nearby), there is no specific parking spot in front of the business to run inand pick up a mobile order, and the drive-thru line is often long, we still drive the extra distance instead of going to one ofthe two Starbucks that are closer to our home for coffee take out because this one always makes our customized drinks exactlylike we order, whether we order at the drive-thru or on the mobile app, and they are always delicious! Really great, friendlyemployees too who help us customize our order if we say what we are looking to change about our drink but don't know exactly howto order it. The Ihop across the driveway is closed so it's parking lot is usually empty for an uncrowded, peaceful place topark if you don't mind a short walk, or you can use the drive-thru for pickup because the line moves fast. I came in to pick up some coffee beans which I needed ground. The cashier took my order, I paid, and then he set my coffee... beans aside and took other customers orders who came in AFTER me and he fulfilll theirs first. I had to stand around, watchingother customers orders get completed and when all the other customers were done and gone, he then ground my coffee beans and'thanked' me for waiting? What a jerk. I guess what I dont know is, is this starbucks policy? Because they sure made itclear being a person buying beans means all other orders in the store, even AFTER yours, get completed first. Very insulting'customer service'. I guess I better stick to the drive thru so as to not be humiliated for being a bean buyer. Read more
Love this Starbucks location at 12889 Rancho Penasquitos Blvd San Diego, CA. The manager, Joey and his staff such as Katie,... Rachel and Lex always make are visit extremely pleasant. Limited parking. Sun-drenched patio is lovely on a cold day. Bits of debris from nearby tall eucalyptus trees, and straw... wrappers. This space doesn?t feel loved. While convenient, location at crossroads makes it feel noisy and busy. Read more
