I had lunch in the garden. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was amazing. Everyone working was so sweet. My fave part was... the pizza chef singing his heart out in Italian. Definitely recommend Read more

Nice place. Really enjoyed my Mediterranean Spaghetti in white wine. Great mussels, scallops, shrimp. Wish there was more... tentacles included with the small tire size calamari. The seating is great. Sidewalk, inside, or courtyard seating. I willdefinitely try it again. Read more

Party of two. We started with the Calamari Fritta. Besides the Calamari, the dish also has lightly breaded zucchini, squash,... and shrimp. Very tasty. I ordered the Sea Bass special and my husband had a Ribeye steak. Both of our meals were verysatisfying. They have lots of outdoor seating but we choose to sit inside. Staff very friendly. Located in Little Italy DowntownSan Diego. Would recommend. Read more

The Linguine Mediterranea was sublime to the last bite! The tomato-based sauce was salty and light, the seafood was tasty and... cooked well, and the pasta was great. Our server? SHOUT OUT TO ALBERTO? was amazing with his service! He made us feel like wewere his only patrons in the whole restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant to you. Read more

Went here for dinner. Cocktail menu wasn't what I was expecting. But luckily they had a open bar so it was fine. Had a... strawberry martini, it was pretty good. We had calamari for an appetizer. That was delicious ????. I love calamari it wascrispy, they could have been crisper but that's just my preference lol. For the entree. It was good ???? I was impressed???????? ????. I don't have any complaints. I could tell they was short handed. It looked like only two servers was working???? but we are in tough times, and our server did a good job to satisfy us. Do I recommend Sorrento sure it was okay. Theremenu has been shortened so it's not the full menu. Read more

This is the second time I visit here and the two times I've had a world class experience with the food. At the heart of Little... Italy this place has truly Italian food. I've tried the eggplant parmigiana, that's the best one I've had. From 5 differentplaces where I've had eggplant parmigiana this one went to the top. This time I had Bruschetta for entrance and they are thebest I've tried ever and is a usual plate that I had at an Italian restaurant. Then I had the Octopus salad that is superior, the mixed flavours were out of the world! A festivity in my mouth! I really enjoyed it. For dessert we had the ricotta chocolatetart, that it was really good. The texture of the ricotta really surprised me. I was expecting something like the marzipan forthe looking but it was some creamin' but not that much, the flavour super balanced. I will visit this place over an over.Definitely is now one of my favourites here at Little Italy. Highly recommend. Read more
