Reviews for Sipz in San Diego, CA
4 stars because of the great customer service even though the waiter was completely alone running the entire dining area. They... were clearly understaffed and he was clearly struggling but still did a great job. We ordered some sushi rolls but they weremediocre. One set was too spicy, the other one just plain. We will perhaps give this place another chance in the future but asof now there are certainly better vegan places in San Diego. Read more
Sipz is a great little vegetarian restaurant in Downtown San Diego. It is small but worth the trip. The food is good and full of... flavor. The rice however needed some work. The plates and utensils that are currently being used are throw away, dine outplates, due to the old Covid policy?s. Not a big deal, the food still tastes good. The restaurant could use some updating, it?sa bit run down. The bathroom could use some cleaning, the restaurant also. Lastly the customer service was on point. Veryfriendly and helpful staff. I would still recommend this restaurant for good vegetarian food. 4stars for the food. Read more
This is one of my favorite restaurants because of the Salt & Pepper Breaded Shrimp. Rarely dissatisfied by this dish as it?s... easily my most ordered. Sadly, the operating times can?t be trusted. There have been multiple occasions where they aren?t openat the hours posted. Read more
I want to preface my review by saying the Clairmont location is 5 stars always great! I've been a customer since 2013 and this... location was always hit or miss. Usually always ordered the same dishes and they would be either good or just meh. However thelast two times I've ordered from doordash the food came from this location and it's been really bad. I got pad Thai that has nosauce and barely any other ingredients, just noodles. My roommates food was the same. No sauce! No flavor! Reading some of theother reviews here and on Yelp and it's seems to be an ongoing thing. The owner must not read these because it seems nothing haschanged for the better. I wish you could pick what location your food comes from on doordash. If you want the good Sipz avoidthis location. Read more
It was my first time visiting this place and I was happy I did. I was craving grilled veggies and they had plenty of options to... choose from. Each dish my group ordered was delicious. The portions were great and they had plenty of indoor seating. I don?thave a big sweet tooth but they had some delicious sweets in the front as well. I?d for sure go back. Read more
Thai salad was basically romaine, cucumber, tomato with ketchup. Pretty bad experience. The server was a nice person who... supplied additional mayo and peanut sauce. But the taste was really poor. Would not recommend. Read more
One of my favorite restaurant in San Diego! Great selection of vegan dishes and the service is always amazing ???? My partner... and I really enjoyed this place. This is a must place to check out if you happen to be in the area. I like the Salt & Pepperdish and the Drunken noodles. They also have some great desserts to finish your meal. Highly recommended!! I?m obsessed with their coconut cream cake. I discovered Sipz 7 months ago while visiting SD. I went back every day after for... more cake. My family came to LA to see Chris Rock perform and planned to spend a week in CA. I insisted that we spend the restof the time SD because of Sipz (and I love this area). We ordered a whole coconut cream cake for my mom?s birthday and mybrother has already warned me that I?m only entitled to the half of the cake I paid for. The texture, the taste, the moistnessof the fresh cake is everything. I?ll be taking some cake back on the plane and exercising my willpower to save at least oneslice in the freezer to eat on my birthday in 3.5 weeks. Read more
