Incredible food, incredible service, incredible atmosphere. We were having trouble finding a dog-friendly Italian restaurant for... our last night in San Diego and settled on here. Our server was a gem and loved on our dog—which is an automatic win in ourbook! The pizza dough literally melts in your mouth. It is so light and fluffy with the perfect crisp from the pizza oven. I'mincredibly picky about my pizza crust and this ticked all the boxes. My father said the Caesar dressing was the best he had everhad (which I daresay I agree with; very nice and garlicky). The surprise winner of the night was the caramel crunch flourlesschocolate cake. I consider myself a tiramisu fanatic and opted for that myself, but the rest of my family wanted the chocolatecake as well. I actually far preferred the cake option to the tiramisu; the tiramisu was a tad dry for my liking and could'veused a bit more espresso/coffee liqueur. The chocolate cake, however, was divine. It also melts in your mouth and had theperfect texture combination between the smooth vanilla ice cream and the crunchy, caramel-y nut topping. Our best meal in SanDiego by far. Read more

The food was amazing. Went here for the first time and would definitely go back. There’s a lot more on their menu that I want... to try. The calamari was lightly breaded which I enjoyed. The lasagna with meat sauce was very tasty. The mushroom risotto wasflavorful but the rice was firmer than desired. I definitely recommend their cannolis. Parking can be a bit of a pain since theydon’t have their own lot, but the food and ambience is worth it. Read more

Excellent service and delicious food. We were attended to right away, and our food came out in less than 15 minutes. I would... highly recommend the Cotto E Fungi Pizza (the crust was fantastic) and the pesto with chicken pasta dish. For two meals, we paidaround 50 dollars, including a tip. Read more

I never, and I mean NEVER write food reviews, so this means a lot. The food was good, except the garlic bread. The garlic bread... was way too salty and small for $5. The food was good; I ordered the Spaghetti Allo Scoglio, the service was good, and I washaving a great time. That good time was short-lived when I went to take another bite, and I found a strand of metal in my pasta(pic below). It looks like metal from a metal sponge, and I immediately felt ill to my stomach, not knowing if I had consumedanother piece unknowingly. Life lesson, look at your food while eating. Update: I also cracked my tooth eating the SpaghettiAllo Scoglio. There were so many tiny bits of clam shells in the food. This place really needs to hire a new chef. Read more

Great eatery! Went for a late night dinner with my wife. It was during June Gloom in San Diego so we ate inside. I ordered a... Pasta, Gnocchi with Salsiccia sauce. The sauce had chunks of sausages in it. Very authentic! Nice atmosphere! Service was onpoint! I recommend! Read more
