Everything is awesome! If you like southern Indian food, this is it! The chefs and staff all from southern Indian. When we were... there, every single patron was Indian. The dosa were yummy, the sauces delicious. The young guy behind the counter explainedevery single thing on the menu to us (I grew up eating dosa but never really know the differences in each type). One of my sonis lactose intolerant another is nut allergic. He talked to the chef and changed out the sauces so there?s no nuts. When heserved the plates, he reminded us not to mix as some has nuts some has lactose so each person do not accidentally eat theother?s tray (which is usually what we like to do - share and try everyone?s food). I?m so impressed by the service and theauthenticity of the spices and flavors. Best day to come is weekend where they have the special !!! $11.99 for a little bit ofeverything! See photos ? It is a good place to have south indian cuisine, there are many varieties of Dosa's available. We ordered Filter coffee, Rava... Dosa, Andhra Spicy Dosa , Tomato Uttapam, Ghee Dosa and Rava Kesari. Rava Dosa was a disappointment as it although crispy wasvery hard to bite and we could feel rava in it. Rava Kesari was terrible, as we have had better rava kesari from here before(Don't know if the quality that they serve is degrading now). I also felt the Ghee Dosa and Andhra spicy dosa although beingtasty had too much ghee (maybe it depends on individual, I like ghee but not so much that its dripping from Dosa). Uttapam wasokay, no complaints. The Aloo masala (inside dosa) was Tasty, and I love the chutneys and Sambhar here, that's there strength. Also the filter coffee is amazing. The rates are quite reasonable and there's ample parking. I think they are quite famous fortheir breakfast thaali which we had last time and it was really good. Read more

We came here for a night?s dinner after seeing several wonderful reviews. I had extremely high expectations and the restaurant... lived up to its hype. We were a party of four and ordered one dosa each- a ghee masala dosa, mysore masala dosa , Andhra spicymasala dosa and a spring dosa. We also had two plates of idli vada and two coffees to share among the four of us. The vada wasthe best I have had in the US and all the dosas were amazing. It was a bummer that they did not have rava dosas and uttapams. The idlis were ok , could have been softer and warmer. The filter coffee was great in taste and the temperature of the coffeewas perfect too. All the accompaniments were fantastic. Would love to be back here again at the earliest opportunity. Read more

Amazing south Indian food. We had been here for lunch. We got a south Indian thali (spicy), idli vada combo, filter coffee and... gulaab jamun. The thali was good, all varieties were delicious, so was the idli vada combo. Filter coffee was very strong andrefreshing. Friendly service. Read more

The best of the best. I love South Indian Cuisine and was craving one so badly here is San Diego. This was so far the best I... have had in the USA. They use true Ingredients and make authentic dishes. The host was very warm and friendly. The prices arenominal. I wish we visited on a weekend as they have a exclusive platter for weekends. But what we had was definitelydelectable. We had our brunch today, and are planning to visit the same place again tomorrow. The Andhra Spicy Dosa, IdliSambhar and coconut chutney were unmatchable. Can?t wait to visit them again soon! Read more

Went here for breakfast on the weekend, from UCSD, and it was really a very easy drive. The restaurant is in a large warehouse... like space and feels roomy. You order and pay at the counter, find a table. The food is brought out to your table, which is muchbetter than some other restaurants where they call out and you have to go and pick it up at the counter. The food wasexcellent, and we enjoyed our meal. The sambar and chutneys were good and freely refilled on request. Everything felt veryfreshly made. The restaurant opens at 9am for breakfast. At 11am, in addition to the breakfast items, they begin to servelunch. Overall, highly recommended and this is definitely my go to place when in San Diego. Read more
