We ordered the BBQ combo platter and when it showed up our lives...well we're not changed, but we were in food heaven for 20... minutes. Our toddler loved the chicken and black beans. That in it's self is high praise. We went back the next day ordereddifferent things off the menu, all good. Great staff, good prices, delightful atmosphere! I would highly recommend the seafood stew with Cod or Plantains on a cold day! The curry coconut broth is savory and sweet. The... side of rice with dried yuca makes this dish all that more desirable and yummy ???? Read more
Very tasty! Enjoyed the gluten free cheese bread. The yucca was very good as well. But beyond that, my wife and I split a plate... with steak, chicken and sausage. It came with rice, beans and vegetables. They had some knowledge of gluten free but I still hadto talk it through with them. I felt no ill effects in the morning. Hooray. Small and neighborhood style restaurant. It?s not easy to find a Brazilian restaurant in San Diego. My husband chose this place... because it?s unique and looking delicious online. I ordered a weekend special dish - a black bean stew with sausage and beef,quite delicious, definitely not a normal dish I regularly eat. My husband burger is nice too. Overall, it?s a good place. We really enjoyed our meal and time here. The food is delicious, my kids liked the chicken burger and we enjoyed the combo... plate, the beef was perfectly seasoned and prepared. The seafood stew was flavorful and savory. Everything was very fresh! Theservice was really attentive and friendly! Small and simple neighborhood restaurant with about 50 seats. Rock solid Brazilian food that is otherwise hard to come by in SD.... Prices went up sharply as they did everywhere lately so I included a picture of the main menu. If you'd like to eat peacefullyand have a conversation over your food don't come here for Friday night. There was live music. Brazilian live music, that is.Most people seemed to enjoy this but I did not. If you don't care for a chat and enjoy vocal-heavy Brazilian folk and pop tunes,this is your place.
