I picked up food from this location for my wife and I in late September. My wife had the Impossible Nachos. In her food was (I... believe) a hard piece of melted plastic around an inch long. My wife bit into it and was in pain, but luckily didn't swallow it.I thought she was full of it and bit it myself (thinking it may have been cheese) and was proved incorrect--it hurt. I leftfeedback via Rubio's website and was contacted by Marcos the district GM who simply offered a generic form "I'm sorry have afree meal." I declined and sent a picture in response asking for more details on what Rubio's does to ensure food safety andnever heard back. So......eat at your own risk and be on the lookout for foreign objects in your meal! Read more
Nice place, clean, friendly staff. The main reason for the 4 stars is that the burrito I received was quite mushy. Lots of... rice. The guacamole and fish were in opposite sections of the burrito. I?d prefer a burrito with all the flavors I?m supposed tohave all together. Instead, I received a goo- and fish, then a rice goo, then a guacamole burrito, in that order. ??????? Itwas a bit over $15 for a burrito & a drink so that?s getting costly for fast food that is mediocre. I know this location is~trying~ to be a sit down place, but you need better food quality/ burrito creation if you want me to dine there more than onceor twice a year. Read more
The food was good, I liked it. The prices are also ok. But I ingested something that unfortunately made me sick some hours after... eating it. I love this place. I'm addicted to the brown rice quinoa bowl. The steak street tacos are ridiculously good. And the original... fish taco is the quintessential San Diego experience. They also have the best veggie burrito in town. Read more
I love Rubio's! Food is always on point. I tried their 3 taco plate with shrimp, grilled mahi and original fish taco. This place... was so busy and the poor manager kept a smile on her face! Read more

They make a keto taco shell!! And it was good too, they melt cheese to make them. Next time I go will update with a picture.
