This place is awesome! We have gotten pizza, the garlic knots, and the subs. Their reward program is also great! The pizzas... are the first good ones I have had in my 8 years of living in San Diego. The subs are amazing!! They are made on fresh frenchbaguette and the buffalo chicken one is amazing! I go here every time my son has a viola lesson down the street. You must tryit! This was my go to spot for a slice of pizza but the last few times I went it took forever to get a slice, just waiting around. ... Over the last few months the slices have gotten smaller and smaller and just haven't found the "value" for the price they chargefor a piee of pizza. Staff always seems very pleasant though! I have been coming to Rockets when they opened up their comic store. Then when they changed gears and started pizza and subs, I... was sold! The pizza here is just amazing and the best in town. When a pizza place has a specialty pie every month, you know thetake pride in pleasing the taste buds. Speaking of buds, they take the time to remember each person which I find as a dying art.Customer service is the one true thing that resonates and keeps people coming back along side good food and Stu does anextremely well job. Pizza, subs, and hotdogs. Yes, hotdogs! Another great choice to dive into. So delicious and on pretzelrolls. The TJ dog is delicious. Lastly their chili fries are the best. Literally waited 25 minutes for one veggie sub, mostly while the crew stood around and talked to one another. No one else in the... place but they kept us waiting making a single takeout order. Very uncool and we will never return. REPLY to comment: I knowyou'd like to think that it was justified to make us wait 25 minutes because a big order came in before ours. It was a takeoutorder, and we were in the shop, waiting. Also there were 4 employees in the shop, not one of them could have diverted fromchatting and supposedly working on the big order to make a simple vegetarian sub? Bread, spread, vegetables, not too complicatedor time consuming, but your staff made a choice, and unfortunately for us, it was a bad one. Read more
