Ordered a California burrito. Usually comes with carne asada, fries, guacamole, sour cream and cheese. But I only got meat and... fries lol. Driest thing I?ve ever eaten in my life. Salsa was sub par as well very watered down. This place should change itsname as it?s a disgrace to Roberto?s. If you want good Roberto?s go to the one in Hazard center Read more

Horrible. Was given 3 red and 3 green sauces for a $50+ order and told they couldn't provide more. Food was below average.... Crunchy old rice, ZERO forks despite ordering fries and enchiladas. Unprofessional and lazy employees. Save your time & moneyand go somewhere that cares customers Read more

Good food. Kind staff. The place can get crowded easily, but that's not really their fault. Best to go in off-hours. The lunch... rush can be intense. Read more

I dropped by a few times for a cheap breakfast burrito, and they've been okay for the price. I'm going to need to find a new... place though. The girl behind the counter is always so rude. My partner went to pick up my food today, and was patronized andignored. They've also gotten my order wrong about half the time, since they don't take a name when you call on the phone. Nobodywho works there seems like they want to be there either, it's a bummer every time I go inside. Such a shame! Read more

You can tell when food is made with pride or at least with repeat business in mind. I tried Roberto's for the first time today,... and based on what I received, I picture a kitchen staff just trying to get through the day clearing their tickets. The carnitaswere definitely scraped off the bottom of the pot -- hard and oily. (Zoom in on that pic.) There was just about a pinch ofedible meat. The tortillas would have survived the delivery much better if they had been wrapped in foil. The salsa fresca wasgood, and I was glad to have the rice and beans, at least If it hadn't been a delivery, I would have asked for a differententree. I don't like to complain, but I'm just surprised. The place must be popular, or at least busy enough to afford to be inHillcrest. Read more

We are in town from Utah and decided to try this gem. We are use to the "Beto's" and various other variations. We couldn't... have been happier with our choice. The California Burrito was amazing! We also ordered the Chili Relleno/Enchilada and itwas amazing! The staff is super friendly and the location isn't bad. There was a drunk man talking trying to get Taco's afterthey had closed. Hopefully that isn't a regular occurrence? Unfortunately, I ate all the evidence of my visit, so there willnot be a photo! :) Read more

Nice, smaller taco shop. I'm giving 4 stars only because they use lard in the beans. The food was good and the lady working was... really nice. I wonder if they are related to the Roberto's in Ocean Beach, They have churros too. Clean looking on the insideand out. Read more
