Roberto?s is an absolute San Diego institution, with locations all over the city. This is a good location at the southern edge... of Clairemont where it merges into Bay Park. They make consistently good burritos and tacos, though I have to say that theirCalifornia is a bit dry, having only carne asada, cheese, and fries. It would be nice if it came with pico de gallo and sourcream or guacamole. The red salsa is great! I recommend the carne asada tacos, chicken quesadilla, cheese enchiladas, and carneasada fries. I had never been here before. The food was great, the rice right where it's supposed to be. Friendly staff and good prices! I am... definitely coming back! Read more

Came here for surf and turf burrito and ending up getting a delicious tostada as well. Everything was super fresh, great portion... sizes and just tasted well. The tortilla they use with the burritos perfectly compliments the meats and fillings. Had a shreddedbeef tostada and man, you could tell that meat had been marinated properly and cooked just right. Honestly a lot better then Iwas expecting for a late night spot. Highly recommend if looking for a late night eatery that won't leave you hanging on flavor. Read more

I took the family here after looking at reviews. The prices were a bit high but since I?m from out of town it might just be San... Diego prices? The rolled tacos were good and the carne asada fries were a lot for $10. I split it with 6 people and we barelyfinished them. My dads carne asada burrito was very salty and he had to add a lot of salsa to eat it. The salsa was very good, everyone liked the green and red salsa. The rolled tacos would have been better with shredded lettuce on top. Overall, it?s adecent filling meal for the price as others have said. Read more
