Cali burrito was yummy, the fresh ingredients made it feel alittle lighter. The Flaming Hot burrito definitely could?ve been... ?hotter? as i barely taste any heat or spice. 619 fries were yummy too. The food is great for the money. I got the mexicali torta. The torta is big which may feed two people. The Jamaica drink was... also great. For a fast food I expect the food quantity to suffer. The meat was not freshly cooked but it was good enough. Thegreen salsa and the red salsa were not fresh but they good. Overall this place gets fourstars. From one review reader to another; take these reviews with a grain of salt. Our family has been to this location several times... since moving to the area and this is our go to for good Mexican food with some flare. On our last trip there our son orderedhis usual Cali monster burrito, to which we always have leftovers for lunch the next day and I ordered the monster friesMexiCali and they have yet to disappoint. Besides who doesn't want fries and Mexican flavors. My suggestion would to alwaysdine in because the portion sizes are amazing and sadly the ToGo boxes can only fit so much. As far as the cost of thefoundation drinks, it is a normal price any restaurant, on the plus side you can get as many refills since the fountaindispenser is not behind the checkout. The bathrooms are clean and that is a bonus for me. My only suggestion would for the topost no smoking signs because on this last trip our meal was interrupted by two individuals who chose to smoke on the outsidepatio. I did not mention anything due to be unsure about the policy within the restaurant or state laws. Anywho, take myadvice and just give it a try. The menu style is awesome. I like how you can get any of their creations made into a burrito, nachos, torta. Do be warned if you... have picky eaters that the kids menu comes with guac and sour cream on both the fries and taquitos we ordered. Great place withfresh food! I've been here 3 times. So far, I've had good experiences in this restaurant. I wouldn't say this is the best Mexican... restaurant, because that's simply not true. However, you will enjoy the food. I've had the burritos and tortas. If this reviewwas done based on my first 2 visits, I would have given a 5 star. The last visit I had, while good, I wasn't a fan of theMexiCali torta. The adobada meat wasn't very good. What to order? If you like carnitas, order a burrito or torta with that.You won't be disappointed. While it isn't the most authentic Michoacan-style carnitas, they are very good. Also... pair it withtheir salsa verde and habanero sauces! Their sauces are spicy and have a very good flavor. I can't honestly remember visiting any Los Primos locations prior to yesterday, but I'm glad I did. I was pondering the thought... of a burger from 4+1 Guys, but the $2 Taco Tuesday sign, with high quality pics, caught my eye and the decision was made. Threetacos it is! I asked the girl at the counter which tacos topped with onions & cilantro were pictured on the sign, she kindlyexplained that it was one of each: chicken, carnitas, carne asada and adobada. She went the extra step to explain that the fishtaco has different toppings. So I ordered 1 carne asada, 1 adobada, and 1 fish taco; all 3 were delicious with plenty of meatand double tortillas. You will be asked what salsas you would like since the self-serve salsa bar is "cerrado" due to covid. Idecided on habanero and chunky. My food was out in a reasonable amount of time with utensils included; napkins are provided bya napkin dispenser at each table. I didn't get to experience anything off of their "monster" menu, which all are prominentlydisplayed on the middle screen of their digital menu. Maybe next time...
