I went to this location today, and it's pretty small, booked and really busy. They're filling online orders, dine in and take... out. Everyone was was working really hard and it seemed as if the rush was not going to end. I saw a few disgruntled people, oneor two left and others sat waiting. I waited for my order. The cashiers were very friendly, the chicken was fresh, the diningarea was clean. I appreciate the great service, hard work and excellent food. Read more

We just ordered Popeye?s from this location through Doordash and we could only place an order for 2 sauces (the app doesn?t... allow for more). We ordered worth $70+. So we called the restaurant to add more sauces and the black woman answering the phonewas extremely rude. She said she can only put what was ordered through the app. We tried letting her understand that we ordered$70+ worth of food and it would be reasonable to add more than 2 sauces! but she literally hung up. Went to this location. If I didn?t get up and see what was taking my order so long I would?ve still been sitting there now.... Manager gave me my food and was rude about it. I asked why have I seen people that ordered way behind me receive their foodbefore me. Her answer we are busy. Mine you I noticed somebody ordered the same thing as me. When I returned to my work area sothat I can eat. They didn?t even put my whole order in. When I asked her while she was putting it together to make sure all wasin the bag the manager had a attitude about it. Like lady all I asked was to make sure because you already done took most of mylunch time up.Worst Popeyes in San Diego and it?s not even a drive thru. Do better be kinder you chose your job. I come here quite often, since it's near the base, to eat and this is by far the most INEFFECTIVE RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE... everytime. From the 30 plus minute wait for a small order to the fact that the employees have no clue what's going on to thefact that the cooks seem to not understand what should be cooked. Where is a manager? The only way for this place to get theirstuff together is by constant supervision by a competent authority ??????????? Read more

So... I was told by others that the people are usually rude and do not carry the products I have asked for. I have been told... they are slow and don't care about their customers. My experience there differs completely. Not only did they have my products,but they also switched them out to make sure I was happy. This is a great service to me. They seemed to be a happy-ish bunch whotried to be as fast as fried chicken can be. It took a few minutes longer than I thought, but, that was because I ordered freshshrimp. Yes, I do plan on giving them more business. Read more

If I could give no stars I would, this lady is so rude with customers. Me and my mother went in to order and noticed a long... line. The first thing the woman behind the counter stated was that they had not taken a break and that by law they need to takeone which I definitely understand. However the tone and face she was making towards us was very rude. We walked out and about 4people walked out as well. By this time there was only 2 people inside Popeyes. My mother asked me if I could ask the lady abouthow long the wait would be if we decided to wait. We open the door to go inside and ask her, she gives us a face expression ofher being very annoyed with us for coming back in. She once again tell us "I already told yall that the wait is gonna be veryyyylonggg" at this point I turn to my mother and tell her "mom im sorry about this but the lady is giving us attitude because wecame back in lets just take our business elsewhere". It was honestly embarrassing that she was making us feel unwanted in there.I have worked in fast food "Subway" and had similar situations happen to me various times and not once did I becomedisrespectful to the customers. I always wanted to make sure that customers knew that I was always doing my best to get to themas soon as I could. Customer service this lady provides is horrible. Im very disappointed and will never return to this popeyesI will take my business to Churchs if I have too. Read more
