Honestly, this was the best place I've been in a while. Granted, it was expensive, and I usually deduct points if the price... isn't right. But here, the price is absolutely worth it. I've been wanting to try this Russian place for a while, And I'm glad I finally got to. I seen the bread with the cheese in the... middle and they add a raw egg into the hot cheese and stir it quickly right from the table. It was so delicious. They hadseveral different dumplings that we tried and they were also very very good. My main dish I got the stroganoff with the pasta,but I should have gone with the traditional mashed potatoes for preference. The pear soda was unique but tasted really good. This place is nice! The food was great, not amazing, but really good. They could have used a lot more spice for my taste and... maybe slightly more salt. We felt spoiled how nice the this spot is, will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Read more
I?m so glad I found this place! Their food was authentic and super delicious!! First time I had borscht was when I went to... Russia a few years ago. I fell in love with the soup! But I couldn?t find it anywhere in So Cal. So when I found Pomegranate andsaw that they serve the soup, I just had to try it out. And I?m so glad I did! We also ordered the salad sampler, cabbage roll,medovik, and a couple other things. Everything was super delicious, and the service was fantastic! Definitely recommend!! Read more
