I came here for the great reviews, honestly, after having the bun bo hue, I am going to say the reviews are fake. The broth was... virtually flavorrless. I told the server and asked if it was normally this boring. He said yes. I was in shock. This is myfirst pho in San Diego. I'm going to advise everyone to stay clear of this place. I was expecting a rich broth full ofVietnamese nuances, but instead, I got a watered down version of yesterday"s broth. Now I'm stuck eating this nastiness. This is an unfortunate tale. By far the most expensive bowl of pho that I've ever bought and tasted the worst I've ever... experienced. The broth tasted like water and had absolutely no flavor. The meat was dry and crumbled before you even had achance to eat it. Would not recommend. Read more
Amazing place with amazing Pho! They also have vegetarian dishes which makes it a great place to go with all your friends... especially those on a plant based diet! The big bowl of Pho, it's worthy, delicious, crispy veggies, spicy and the broth is anabsolute delight! Everything we ordered was great and fast. I'm no liar, this place is fire. Nothing but love for the food desired. Clock-in clock-out new day same taste. I got food from here for the first time in life and I'm wondering why I didn't sooner! Called ahead for pickup and it was ready... in 15 minutes as promised. The fresh spring rolls with shrimp only were delicious and the chicken wings with the sauce wereother worldly! I wanted to order it again today but I'll hold off. This place is open and has screens and masks as a requirement as measures against covid. You can dine-in or outside on the... patio, and the service is very fast. The staff is very aware of the tables so you can easily flag someone down if needed. Iordered the P1 Pho order and it was delicious. Unlike some pho restaurants, it was not too salty so I was able to finish thebroth. The Vietnamese crepe was also great to have as an appetizer. It has shrimp, green onion, egg, and bean sprouts, and avinegar sauce which complements it very well. Read more
This used to be reliably 5 stars but they seem to have gotten a new cook. We went here today and it was just disgusting. The... Pnomh Penh soup was just awful. The pork pho was just tasteless. The bun bo hue (beef soup) had no beef taste and was missingthe herbs. Everything was just amazingly salty with no taste. It's really sad because this has been a reliable place for so longand suddenly it's the worst pho I've ever had (and I've had hundreds of pho if not thousands). Read more
