Reviews for Pappalecco in San Diego, CA
Tres leches was really good. The Lemon Vanilla Tart (Tarta Nonna) didn't seem to have any lemon flavor coming through and was... very doughy and underwhelming for me. The apple tarts looked amazing but the treats were spendy so only chose two to try. Read more
It?s a very small menu with sandwiches and salads, as well as coffee?s and desserts, but this is exactly what part of the... neighborhood where you want to hang out, catch up, and enjoy some good food and drinks. Read more
Great experience! We have been waiting for ohmycakecali to open a store front! And how exciting that it's In a great location... with COFEEE ???? I have been dreaming of the pistachio baklava cheesecake goodness for far too long and it DID NOT disappointand is a MUST try. I've had the BEST buns in the world before...and yes they are in the running to be the best in the world.Cinnamon rolls are my JAM and I will probably be testing and searching for cinnamon rolls indefinitely. When she only did popups my friend would pick them up and sometimes I would get them days later and they would still taste fresh and amazing. Whencoming into Pappalecco/ohmycake I got the seasonal pumpkin spice. I'm not sure if it was how it was stored or that the air wason quite cold and it hit my cinnamon roll hard or what because my cinnamon roll was unusually dry and hard and honestly notgood. I've had the buns before so I'm hopeful it was a fluke and I will be back! Support this amazing business ???? Read more

First time here. My friends ranted and raved about how delicious their gelato is. They were right - very delicious! I bought my... son a chicken panini and he loved it. The two men that were working here are very friendly and accommodating. Read more
Cute little cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating. Piano adds charm to the interior. Friendly staff. Heavenly affogato:... gelato is sweet and creamy, and coffee is top notch. Best dessert I've had so far in San Diego. Read more
The Pappalecco owners must be doing something right - almost everyone seems to love this place. Their Gelato and coffee... (espresso) are particularly good, my favorite being the coffee Gelato with chocolate syrup and a second Gelato and coffeecombination - the Affogato. Another specialty that's worth trying is the Shakerato, which both looks and tastes amazing. Alittle known secret among the locals is that you can park in the building behind (for free) in the guest parking spaces. Thestaff is very friendly indeed and they seem to know the regulars by name. Outdoor area is a good place to enjoy yourcoffee/dessert while people - watching. Read more
