Reviews for Panera Bread in San Diego, CA
Waited 30 minutes in the curb side pickup. I went in think ok they are busy. I will just grab it. My order was just sitting... there getting cold. When I asked for it they curb side I said yes. He said you was to wait in your car. I let him know I havebeen out there for 30 minutes how much longer you want me to wait. The lady was talking to me with her back to me and neverturned around. Go back to eat my soup which was cold and had less then half of cup of soup. $6 plus tax for an empty bowl. Soupset. Never will go back! Customer service sucks! Read more
Juli, is a very nice person. Very friendly and committed to her job. I was pleasantly surprised by her above and beyond level of... service. BTW, the smell of fresh baked goodness is unbelievable too. Thanks! Read more
Walked in to the smell of cookies, instantly feel very relaxed. Staff very kind and welcoming. Hadn't been to one of these in... many years. Definitely will be back. I ordered the kids meal turkey sandwich since I wasn't very hungry. My friend got thebroccoli cheddar soup and salad. Everything fresh and delicious. Read more

More cheese than meat. I don?t recommend the Smokehouse sandwich. It tasted fine but I definitely feel shorted. We ordered 13... boxes for a staff meeting, this will be the last time we order Panera for a staff meeting. Enjoyed the chip and cookie lol. Read more
Plenty of parking available and easy drive thru access. Inside is clean and has a few tablets for ordering your food. There is... a little bit of outdoor seating. Presentation of the baked goods is nice and easy to see. They have a great selection of sweetand unsweetened teas and coffee as well. Prices have gone up but as long as the food quality remains where its at I wouldrecommend here for lunch. The next time I visit I may try the flat bread if there is a special. Read more
I usually get to this location late morning or early afternoon. I will usually get a bagel, coffee and a loaf of bread (... depending on what is available). Every visit has left me a bit disappointed, especially if I bring my kids along. There neverseems to be a decent selection. Stuff is sold out or not ready, not sure which it is. If I had to guess having spent a part ofmy 20s as a baker, the items are sold out as backing is usually done in the morning. I truly believe too that the staffdiscourages ordering at the counter and not the kiosk. If a place is not packed, I much more prefer to talk to a person thanorder at a kiosk. It is quicker in person. If I were to only use the kiosk, there would not be any human interaction at all.Place my order and it magically appears at a window. Panera to me has always been a place that was a notch above withpersonality, this location has none. Read more
