This was probably the best tuna melt I've ever had in my life. My friend and I ordered margaritas to accompany and they were... delicious and pretty strong. The atmosphere is a 10/10. The restaurant has its own private lounge/grass area. You must see it inthe sunlight at sunset! Very romantic Read more

We came here for lunch one Tuesday in June when we were visiting Balboa Park. I ordered a salad with shrimp and my husband... ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. My salad came quickly, but the chicken sandwich took forever. When it arrived, it had abeef patty on it. So we sent it back. My husband insisted I eat while we waited for his food. His sandwich took SO long! I wasalmost done eating by the time it arrived. The food is good, but the service, for us, was just alright. When we ordered, myhusband made certain to specify a chicken sandwich. And the wait for the correct dish was ridiculous. The environment wasdecent. It was summer and there were quite a few children in the park and the restaurant. We plan to try Panama 66 again and arehopeful for a better experience. ? Read more

A great place nestled between museums in Balboa park. Plenty of drink & food choices. The Friday that we visited they had live... music that started about 6:30 PM. Outdoor seating & a nice lawn area also. Pet friendly but check the rules on dogs. A verychild & family friendly place. I had a delicious burger & side salad & a beer. My wife had a very filling salad w brusselsprouts & other veggies, topped w cheese & pumpkin seeds. Read more

Excellent food. Only place open in Balboa Park on Labor Day. Only issue was how their wait works. We grabbed a seat and had a... sweet tea (sweetened with honey). Once it cleared out some we went and ordered and got our food fairly quickly. Read more

My family and I were visiting Balboa Park last Monday, and typically, we eat lunch at the Prado Restaurant. We didn?t know that... the Prado was closed on Monday and surprised since it was summer. This is the first time in this restaurant. There was a longwait for lunch and we put our names on the waitlist. The restaurant has a bar that we can order first while we wait. It tookover 30 min for to get on the line to order our food. The food is pricey. The fries and wild rice were very salty. My salmonwas over cooked. Overall, it was a mediocre experience. Read more

Great place for drinks and live music. Pleasent outdoor venue, counter service only. You order, pay and they give you a number... to take back to your table. Service is reasonably fast and most everyone is pleasant. Food selection is eclectic, beer andwine selection is reasonably good. Prices and portions are also reasonable. Read more

We always come here for drinks while we visit Balboa Park. This time, we went to Natural History Museum and then came here for... their good drinks. Here?s cocktails are very well mixed. I tried a mule which has a little whiskey touch which is amazing. Myhusband Bear?s Knees is not a regular one either, but it?s better! I love doing sketches when the weather is nice and my mood isgreat. The view in the backyard is so beautiful. I love this place. Read more

Nice people and nice food the lady at the door very nice ,we didn?t get the table notification text, she apologized multiple... times and arranged our table right away. The food and drinks are very good. try the hummus board and the grilled chicken withrice and salad, the steak ???? was very tender but a little bit greasy. The park burger is the best and also the curry fries. This place is our new favorite at Balboa park Read more
