Went to the rooftop. (Lots of stairs - might be an elevator) Great views of Pacific Ocean! Relaxing with quiet music. We were... there for happy hour 3-5pm and ordered off the happy hour menu. My drink was still $10 but the food was well priced. I had thepesto flatbread pizza. It was OK- a little dry. The wings were OK too. Also a little dry ( slightly overcooked). We came in on Friday night and they were able to get us a table fairly quickly. We are on vacation and saw this place right on... boardwalk. Staff were friendly. The ahi tuna nachos are a must appetizer. They have a kids menu. The steak fries were deliciousthe steak was cooked just right and the chimmichurri sauce is amazing. The fish tacos were good. Our pretzel appetizer was overcooked and a burnt taste but the cheese sauce was yummy. My husband really enjoyed the pesto chicken Flatbread. The basicbeachside lavender is a strong after flavor. I love the Pacific Beach Ale House!! Every time I have a beach day in San Diego, I always stop in here! Awesome beers! Awesome... food! Awesome staff. The fried pickles are my favorite. One of the best Happy Hours in PB!! $5 beers / $5 Pesto Chicken Flatbread is perfect and the spicy margarita (not shown) is... perfectly poured with very minimal sweat n sour. Great view from the top deck and the staff solid. Read more
