As a 10 year resident in San Diego, I?d call this spot a staple destination. It?s got an east coast deli vibe meets great... parking, walking and sunshine year round. The scene can lean a bit college students on a date, but that?s only if you too rollout of bed mate enough in the day for brunch or lunch to join them. The sandwiches and scrambled are great and I appreciate thegluten free bread options as well. Vegan : gf inclusive and affordable / tasty to top it! Read more

I love their chai! It's different than the white chocolate-y chai that a lot of cafes in the area use, and it's particularly... good iced. They have a ton of vegetarian options, and its easy to substitute things. I'm also a fan of their breakfast burrito(in large part because it has hash browns in it), especially if you add sour cream or salsa to the inside. The only downside isif you order online it's hard to know where to go for pickup, which hopefully is something that's easily remedied! Read more

So good!! Love this little place. We would definitely return. The food was fresh and it was delivered to our table quickly.... Outdoor eating can be a hassle due to the flies, but Olive Cafe is very thoughtful to have the fly fans at each table. Theyworked wonders. Also, the food was actually seasoned. Imagine that!! A restaurant actually using seasonings. Chefs kiss! Read more

Not impressed no frills place. You order your food they bring it to your table. I had scrambled eggs & pancakes, which were... bland. Basic service The gal at the register was very sweet and friendly, service staff was impersonal hardly said two words. There wasn?t even a, can I get you anything else or how was everything? I?m not sure why people rate it so well cuz I didn?tfind it to be that great of a place for the price. I?m not really sure how long their accessibility lift has been out of servicebut I found that to be discouraging, as well. If I am searching for breakfast in this neighborhood I would probably trysomewhere else next time. Read more

My friends and I were looking for a breakfast restaurant while visiting from out of town. We picked Olive based on the reviews... online. They did NOT disappoint! I ordered a breakfast burrito and a flavored lemonade. They were both incredible! Can't wait togo back to CA so we can go here again! Read more

Awesome food, friendly staff, nice place to be. South Swell special rocked it out and the open at 7am! Good stuff.

Breakfast was fine. I needed a to go box and the server ignored all three of my attempts to get her attention. She really wasn't... that busy. Age discrimination? I also asked for an extra butter and that seemed to annoy her. I won't be back but will continueto go to your bakery for sticky buns and cookies and mochas because they are, literally, the best on planet Earth. Read more

I order from this place multiple times a month and their food is great and service tends to be also but this most recent visit... it was not. Ordered to go, food wasn't ready by the time website stated, had to ask the person out front multiple questions tofind out how much longer so I wasn't taking space on patio. Got the text after she said it wasn't ready. I didn't get anyutensils inside the bag, no napkins. Wasn't asked if I wanted any on the side or condiments. I ordered soup..... Kind of need aspoon for that, ordered The Bowl, which is the size of a cup but I guess the only difference is a few ounces so they really areboth cups of soup. Doesn't state that on the site. Parmesan cheese on soup was also sad and pointless. I over tipped and wish Ihadn't since I didn't see the value this time around. Read more
