We normally go to the Rancho Bernardo dr one but is closed for renovation. The garlic knots were terrible no garlic no buttery... glaze on top. The pizza was mediocre at best. Upon casual enquiry, I find that it is under different management. Not sure whatthat means but may be a franchised store. It showed as the place was not busy on a Friday night. Won't be back. Oggi's is one of our favorite pizza places. This location always seems to be centrally located for lunch meetings that my... business partner, myself, and others in the business have from time-to-time. The server was attentive but not pushy and allowedus to have some good time to talk, etc. The atmosphere is great, the typical, comfortable Oggi's vibe. Its cool to see how thebar area always seems to have regulars seated at it, just talking away with each other and the staff. Immediately when walking in, the blonde at the cash register did not greet us, didn?t smile, and just looked at us while we... stood there waiting to be seated. Someone else came over and told us we could sit wherever we wanted. I ordered a basic burgerand fries. Their fries were great. Burger had zero flavor and not seasoned at all, the bottom bun was completely saturated, andthe meat was burnt and had a very sour taste that I couldn?t get rid of(no matter how much ranch and fries I ate). I have been going to Oggi's weekly for many years because they were dog friendly. The food is mediocre, but most of the time the... service was good (especially by Dora). Today I was told by the manager that we are no longer welcome there because my dog barkswhen we are leaving. I am frankly very annoyed at them because my dog has acted exactly the same way there for the past 7 yearsand nobody ever complained. In fact most people say what a good dog he is and come up to pet him. My dog is certainly not theonly dog that barks there. I have frequently talked many of my dog park friends into going there because they were dogfriendly. I have spent thousands of dollars there over the years. I came with the family to try their famous pizza and it was great and big! The kids loves it so much! Also the patio is great... and as a sport bar with plenty of televisions. The I came back with my son just for a Monday Night Football, he has a burgerand I a order of nachos!! So good full of flavor! Definitely one of the best sport/pizza places in Del Mar. By the way thebeer selection is really good. To bad they don't have the prices on the menu. The staff superfriendly!! Read more
