I feel I'm so lucky to live in a city has a lot of good pizzas. My husband is half Italian, so pizza is something we have really... regularly. We love all types of pizzas no matter Chicago style or New York style, but Italian style is the best. Here’s pizzais so authentic Italian style which is so airy, light also flavorful. The one we ordered called Lina, we highly recommend it. Wealso had a Cacio e Pepe gnocchi, it is amazing too! The gnocchi is so dense and starchy! Here’s drinks are nice too, I lovedmy Bellini. One of the best Italian food places I have ever eaten at! We were in town for a family vacation, received the tip from a friend.... The wait for a walk-up without reservations was 30 min, but it would have been worth any wait! The menu has your typical Italianantipasti (the fried pizza bites are great), salads (who knew beet salad would be this good!), pasta in all variations andpizzas (the calzone Kira is my favorite). If you’re in for a special treat, check out the chef’s specials. We went rightback for a second time, and we’ll be back again next trip with all the yummy items on the menu! Definitely on the Top 3 list of Pizza places in California, Roma style done almost to perfection, transporting you back to... Italy. Carbonara with hand made fettuccine was fantastic as well, and fried pizza is surprisingly light and crunchy. Staff weregreat, weather turned and they got us all back under shelter quickly, also did well to accommodate a young family. Book ahead,we got lucky with a cancellation allowing us in Recommend the pizza, fried pizza to give it whirl hand made pasta, and meatballs, we tried carbonara and pesto sauces, both authentic with spec and pine nuts respectively. Delicious baked pizza and amazing made to order pasta and customizable to your liking. Opted for the slippery lobster gnocchi... and it certainly hit the spot. Portions are huge so bring your appetite. Great service as well and looking forward to try allthe other pasta dishes on the menu. Look at the board for the daily specials for something off menu. Stumbled up on this place, and it's a gold mine! The wait was roughly 20min when I ate there. The appetizers were delicious,... started off with some bread and EVOO. The back patio was nice, they had heaters out there which saved me. The food wasphenomenal, from the Nicola pizza to the ravioli of the day. The ravioli surprised me beyond words. So delicious and that day,it was salmon ravioli! I was reluctant to try but I'm so glad I did. The staff was very friendly. I had a very pleasantexperience, I advise you to go try anything on the menu. Planning on a second trip to SD just to try something different on themenu.
