Horrible service! While I get you never want to force a restaurant to stay open late, we made a reservation for 8:30. We arrived... at 8:20. Our seat was ready at 8:45. We sit down, order, and then at 9 they come by to tell us that it’s last call. We paidalmost $200 for 4 people just to eat in a rush. If you’re going to have a hard close time, 1: don’t accept reservations 2:tell people there’s a last call. We ate a rushed dinner as they were packing everything up around us. Read more
Can I give this place 10 times 5 stars?! I am a thousand percent satisfied with the experience here. My husband was not really... happy with the waiting time at the beginning, because we had a reservation, but still got to wait about 20 minutes for thetable. I’m fine with that, since I understand that right now every restaurant needs more people to work. But I have to say, myhusband is sooooooo happy about the food and agree to give a full 5 star after we finish dinner. I tried Sukiyaki in Asia -Tokyo and Shanghai before. I will say MOMO PARADISE is as good as my previous experiences in Asia. I highly recommend Sukiyakiwith raw egg, that’s how we eat it, and if you would like to try the authentic experience, you should do that. About the meat,my fav is the beef short plate, which is very marble and fatty meats, so yummmm. My husband fav is the pork shoulder. I meanit’s really depends how you like the meats. They all very good. And my husband is happy with the drinks too, their liquorprice is really amazing. Also I’m happy with the cocktails as well. Horrible service, mediocre taste, overpriced, will never go back again. After we were seated, no one attended to our table. We... tried to ask a server but she said she can not take orders and she will get someone to come. After 20+ mins, someone finallycame and took our orders and brought the pot out afterwards. You would probably think, the 20+mins waiting time wouldn’t countinto the 90 limit. But no no, we only got 60 mins left. During our eating, our pot almost dried out and no one had time to comerefill more soup…and in the end, we asked for ice cream, and the first server forgot and we had to ask again…the ‘bestpart’ is that they force you to pay 18% of service fee no matter the size of your party. **3.5 stars** Rounding up to 4 because service was very attentive. We had heard a few friends say this was one of their... favorite hot pot spots, and another friend decided to have their birthday dinner here. We were a LARGE party of 18, so we made areservation ahead of time. They were able to fit us into tables of 7,6, and 5. They asked our main contact what soup bases wewanted so that they would have them available once we arrived. - PARKING - Shares a large parking lot with other businesses, noneed to worry about finding a spot here. - SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT - We were missing 2-3 people, but we were told once we sat down,the time limit would start. We decided to wait for everyone, and once we got seated, we noticied the soup bases were wrong forour table. They switched it out, but later on in the meal they filled it up with the wrong broth... They have a drink station,a vegetable/curry rice station, and a small sauce area. I wish they had more variety for sauces - that's one of the biggestthings for me in hot pot! - FOOD - Dinner AYCE ($34.95): You can choose from Shabu-Shabu / Tomato / Tonkotsu / Sukiyaki foryour soup bases. I personally didn't think Shabu-Shabu or Tonkotsu tasted very strong, but Sukiyaki definitely had someflavor. The other big thing for me in hot pot is the variety of meats. Mo-Mo Paradise only has 6 meats to choose from - noseafood here! I personally enjoyed the Beef Chuck Eye the most out of all the meats. The others were disappointing and I didn'treally like any of them. Their Curry Rice is most likely made with Golden Curry - it tastes almost exactly like it... stillgood though, just nothing special. They serve free ice cream at the end of your meal! Sounds like the flavors change day today. - OVERALL - I would definitely go to my other hot pot spots over Mo-Mo Paradise, but I was glad I at least tried it once.Service was very attentive which is something that isn't found often at establishments similar to this.
