New opening on Linda Vista is AWESOME!! Super nice staff, clean restaurant, and amazing food. We got 6 tacos for $12! Carne... asada and fish, the carne asada was delicious, probably some of the best we?ve ever had. Super fresh guacamole too!! Highlyrecommend for taco tuesday. Read more

The remodel is nice and the staff was very friendly. There were good menu options but not what I was anticipating due to the old... menu pic online. I had my heart set on barbacoa or menudo and neither of them were on the new menu. I ordered the carne asadastreet taco combo which comes with rice and beans. The presentation was nice but the food was just average. I had never beenthere before so I was expecting more of a restaurant style platter but it seemed more like fast food. I will give it another trywith a different menu option to give more of a fair judgement. However, what I did get was very bland chewy and lackluster. The new Matador is open! The renovations look amazing and the food is just as great as ever. Had the pleasure of talking to Kris... who is the new manager along with her husband. They have a new TACO TUESDAY where you can get any tacos for $1.89.
