Not elderly-friendly or analog friendly, or mobility challenged friendly. Maybe that's really all the same thing, but the stage... my 2 guests are at. It's largely a self-service establishment from my perspective. You MUST be smartphone proficient to seemenu and order for your table #xx. They did bring food to us; ordered for all 3 of us from my phone. I had to go to bar to getlemonade and waters for 3 (2 trips). Seems to be this way (more self-service than service) by design in this pandemic era, ormaybe always. Probably more enjoyable for younger folks, able-bodied, and when the focus might be on the beer. Love the largespace and brats! Wish there were waitstaff attending us at our table. That would have helped us. Great pub atmosphere. Nicewindow front seating at good tables (normal height), plus lots more high-table space thru the balance of the establishment. Has3 nice good bathrooms, but they were a longggg walk to the back for our mobility challenged guest (1 walks with cane). Bar andkitchen staff were great. Just the degree of self-service required presented challenges for my octogenarian guests hankeringfor wienerschnitzel or brats. Brats were a big hit. Wienerschnitzel and a traditional German salad could not be found, butmaybe another day. Knowing all this we will return for Brats and fries on occasion, and plan accordingly. Read more

The tastiest, freshest, most original food we've found in the 30th/University corridor. House made sausages are outstanding... and well priced, and sides are all standouts. Offering vegan, vegetarian, and meat dishes, this is our go-to, must visit forevery one of our out of town visitors; their food never fails to impress with it's amazing S.D. vibe! Read more

Really good variety of sausages, all cut up and warm served with your choice of sides! Great unique flavors!

Tl:Dr version; it's a good thing I don't live nearby otherwise I'd be broke and fat. If their Parktoberfest beer brats are any... indication of how good they good is then it is f#&$ing amazing. They house make their sausages which meant it was superflavorful and juicy. The fried red cabbage and home made spaetzel (potato) were also wonderfully delicious. The warm bacon breadpudding was off the hook. Seriously, you can't go wrong here for food. Things you need to know, parking in North Park can bedifficult. Mastiff is inside a brewpub, so expect a lively crowd and lots of families from the surrounding area. Read more
