I?m staying at the Westin downtown San Diego and right across the street is this local cafe. The wonderful people working at... Kuma Cafe made for great experience. I ordered the cafe Mocha and the breakfast egg/ham sandwich. It was delicious and the CafeMocha was far better than the local competition. 5 Stars for outstanding customer service and food/drink. Ordered cappuccino ($4.6). It was perfectly creamy and coffee had the right kick and blend of notes with the right balance... (earthy, chocolaty, and nutty). Location is prime, right in downtown. Staff was nice and ambience was cool. Ps, please getheavy cream! Read more

I love coffee and am always excited when there is a new incarnation of regular staples. In this case, take the mocha latte, and... add charcoal to it. I couldn't help but fill my curiosity and try this after looking at all the rad pics. The latte wasdelicious. Creamy and delightful. The charcoal taste really complemented the creamy and subtly sweet latte. Just be careful, youmight just have charcoal mustaste after slurping it up :) Read more
Stopped by this cafe on the way to a conference. I ordered the blood orange tea and the breakfast sandwich. My buddy ordered the... mocha. The tea was really great and the mocha was delicious. The sandwich I felt was okay, and not too spectacular but theservice was outstanding. I would definitely come back sometime in the morning next time I have an event in downtown. Read more
