Before other breweries in San Diego there was Karl Strauss. While I already forgot how good their beer sampler was, what... distinguishes this place from others are two things: atmosphere and food. Their food is not just something to eat with the beerlike fries, burgers, and pizza but rather good quality restaurant food. Today I tried their Korean BBQ Bowl with Beyond Meat. Itwas delicious. Their version of tiramisu made with beer is original, rich, and tasty. You want fries? No problem, but it is hardto stop once you start tasting that garlic truffle oil. The last meat dish I had there was a fish steak with a tartar sauce overa decade ago with a view of a beautiful koi pond. But I never forgot about it, because that's the experience you get with thisplace. Read more

Really nice place with lake view and good beers. You order online with qr codes which was convenient for us as 14 party! They... were really fast to serve our order,It was birthday party and they brought plate and fork for us as well! We ordered burger andpastrami sandwiches with l liked both. I love how this location has plenty of parking. The man-made pond with fish is a great amenity. Really convenient ordering from... counter or table option. Please gets pretty busy on weekends. Will definitely go back. Read more
The food is consistently good - and of course they have a fantastic selection of beer. I had a fish tacos again today, but now... I regret not getting the burger They guy at the table across from got (that looked really good). The mac & cheese is always awinner. I could never go there if I didn’t have a reservation, and finding parking was impossible, but since it is in anindustrial workplace area, parking is now easy to come by and no reservations are necessary.
