Ordered from DoorDash and was disappointed in the lack of ability to customize. I didn't want guac on my ribeye taco but was... unable to make any request. After scraping off the guac, it was an awesome taco filled with flavorful meat. The shrimp and fishtacos were very good too, appropriately fried and not heavily breaded. Good portion for the price. 100% worth it!! We had Marinara Ceviche, Shrimp Taquitos, Fish Baja Tacos and Al Pastor taco and everything was really good!
Karina's was amazing! We had the shrimp ceviche was very refreshing, yet spicy. My husband's favorite was the surf n turf, and... the ahi tuna tacos. I had the gobernador and the bacon wrapped shrimp. The gobernador was great and messy, which I love in ataco! The bacon wrapped shrimp was good but it had a sweet sauce on it that just did not go with the taco. However, everythingelse was delicious ????. Read more
There is absolutely nothing to complain about when it comes to the food at this little takeout taco joint. Both the... bacon-wrapped shrimp taco and the Marlín taco (smoked fish and cheese) are outrageously good, and the Ceviche Karina is in adelightful green chile sauce. There's a fair amount of outdoor seating, and the only issue is the breeze, which will blow yournapkins everywhere. Otherwise, this is a great meal. Read more
Just a couple minutes from the airport. Fantastic tacos (carnitas recommend). Not hot, good flavors. Not a sushi or ceviche... guy but my wife said both were fantastic. Outside seating. Limited beer selection. But you?re here for the ceviche and tacosright? And it?s good. Read more
So far one of the better ceviche I've had since moving down here to San Diego. Ordered the Camaron Cocido and Ceviche Karina.... The cocido was more tomato based in flavor. The avocado was a good neutral. Ceviche Karina had a green sauce that tied theshrimp and the rest of the ingredients together. Definitely would recommend. Looking forward to trying their Mango TunaJalapeño Sashimi appetizer. Read more
We had to drop off a hire car at San Diego airport, and dinner was a few hours away so, when we put petrol in the car and... noticed a deli across the road, we decided to check it out. My wife wasn't that impressed by the deli but we realised we were on"International Restaurant Row", so we had a quick look at what was available, and decided to give Karina's a go. We had the surfand turf fajita and a cheese quesadilla. Both were excellent - whoever was in the kitchen definitely knew what the were doing -and the combination of tasty rib eye steak and king prawns worked really well. If I didn't live >5,000 miles away, I'ddefinitely be a regular! Read more
