Dutch crunch bread was good - a little light on the meat content (pastrami #91) - flavor was OK, but it seemed like the emphasis... was on everything else except the meat (purple slaw, sauce). I get a sandwich for the meat and what accentuates the flavorprofile of the meat. Decor of the store seemed like something from a comic book - just not my style even for a quick-servicesandwich shop. Nobody said the bread is sweet and the sauce is sweet. If I wanted a donut I would have gone for donuts. Very dissatisfied

We ordered 3 sandwiches ahead of time at 11:32 and their website said it'd only take 25min. We got there 12pm thinking it should... be ready. No, somehow several people who walked in to order got their food before us. How is that acceptable? They finallyfinished our 3 sandwiches at 12:35, AN HOUR after we ordered. Just polished off the second half of our sandwiches (the Bumgarner and the Hizzy Pence) and the it tasted JUST AS GOOD as when... we got them 6 hours ago. That dutch crunch bread though. The best way to describe it is to say it's a cross between the mostmoist inside but crunchy outside pizza crust you've ever tasted... and a nice brioche. Visiting San Diego from out of town, and we stopped by after a day of thrifting. My significant other has raved about this... sandwich shop for forever, but they seem to only be in CA. We got the Ménage a Trois on their Dutch bread and voodoo chips.Hands down the best sandwich I?ve ever had! A large part of it was the bread, plus the full flavor that packed a punch! Icouldn?t finish my whole sandwich so someone else from our group took the 2nd half, so keep in mind the sandwiches are totallyshareable! Would definitely come back again ???????????????? Read more
