The rice was too salty for my liking. The tator tots were all oil with little potato flavor. The bloody Mary's were tasty as... well at the birria tacos and ramen. The decor and ambiance inside is beautiful. But that’s pretty much the only positive about this restaurant. It took 90 minutes... total for the food to arrive at the table, including waiting for a table. Mind you, the restaurant wasn’t packed…. Fromreading the comments, it looks like a high wait time has been a common occurrence at this restaurant for the past few years. Youwould think they would’ve fixed this issue by now… Needless to say, this place needs new management. My friend and I werealready drunk from sipping on the bottomless mimosas waiting for the food to arrive. The waiter was friendly and the manager wasapologetic about the wait time. Don’t think we will be back. Couldn’t savor the food as I was too hungry and I just ate itall quickly. A bit pricy and the taste of the food was mediocre at best. Read more
One of several visits to this nice restaurant. We sat on the patio and really enjoyed the passing scenery. The wait staff was... very good and even though it was very busy they took care of us quickly and with a smile. The food was delicious and servedquickly. If you eat outside, make sure to check out the beautiful inside of the restaurant. If you like good Mexican food, thenthis is the place for you. Not worth the money. We had a party of three and It took an hour and a half for our food to come out and when it did, it was... cold and the pancakes taste like flour. I was there on mothers day and they told me they were backed up because of that. Theyshould have been more prepared if they know its a busy day. I also witnessed the manager arguing with another customer becauseshe fell in the wet bathroom. I almost fell myself so I know it was slippery and the sign wasn't out. I saw the manager go outafter the lady to yell at her again when that whole party left. She wasn't very professional at all. The bottomless mimosasaren't worth it. Read more
I was going to give this restaurant a 2? due to waiting for my food to arrive for over 50 minutes. I went to talk to the... manager/owner and she was extremely apologetic about the wait. She let me know that they are short staffed (like manyrestaurants right now). She offered alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks on the house and also provided chips and dip. The servicewas really good after my complaint. The food was tasty and I enjoyed my meal. This restaurant was able to fix something thatwasn't right. I will give them a 4? because they really made the effort afterwards to correct the issue. Read more
GREAT SERVICE! The food was very good and flavorful, we had the albondigas soup and it was delicious. The waiters were very... friendly and offered excellent service. Many items on the menu, tends to be pricey. If you enjoy delicious mexican food, you gotto visit this place. Lots of outside seating. We will definitely come back in the bear future. Read more
Take out was awesome! Including house margaritas top notch! Service was outstanding as we were seated while waiting for our... take out order. Definitely a place to return, explore the menu. My son, who is a foodie visiting San Diego from Seattle,stated this was his best Mexican food ever! We had two grandchildren at the Air bnb too young to sample the savory treats.
