I? LOVE? THIS? RESTAURANT! This is likely the best Izakaya (Japanese Bar Restaurant/Snack) in San Diego. They have an... excellent electronic ordering system (just like in Japan), and all the food - ALL THE FOOD - is simply delicious. Everything we got was good. Yakitori is delicious, a little on the pricy side though. Overall a very good experience.
Good selection of Japanese inspired foods, but the quality, quantity and taste of the food was not worth the cost. The sushi I... had tasted like some bad fish that?s been left out too long and the yakitori was not even hot. Over $12 for 2 yakitori beeftongue sticks. Not worth it. Read more
Parking is easy. Customer service is great. Yakitori is good but the one with salt is chewy and not flavorful. Overall it was... a good unique experience eating at the Japanese-style short-legged dinner table. Read more
Super quick early dinner. At 6 pm, we made it on time before it gets busy. We got a seat right away. Every table has a tablet... for you to order food which was super convenient. Food comes in quick too. We are out of the restaurant by 6:38pm. Among thefood we ordered I like the pork shiso. Yakitori was pricey. Read more
The yakitori items are delicious! We ordered pork shiso, pork belly, and scallop, they are all amazing, grilled to just right.... We also ordered a wasabi shio maze soba, it's our first time trying it out and it turn out to be also delicious - a simple drynoodles with soy sauce and abit of the wasabi tang, we love it!
