The hostess gave us the list to put our table in the waiting list, she told us that the wait was approximately 15 minutes. We... noticed that people would get seated really quickly as they got here, and after 30 minutes we went to ask about our table. Thehostess told us that we wrote our table in the wrong column and that we would be next to be seated. We got seated outside, andthe seats and menus were VERY dirty. We ordered coffee and they gave it to us on to-go cups because they didn't have clean mugsand the coffee was incredibly watered down and without flavor. The shrimp on my dish was extremely burnt as seen in the picture.When I went inside the restaurant to go to the restroom, there was a horrible smell inside as I walked in and throughout thewhole place. The restroom had 2 doors and one didn't have a lock and the hole was covered in toilet paper. I definitely don'trecommend this place. Read more
Harbor Breakfast was delicious, my rib eye and eggs was legit. My only issue is that our waitress was without a notepad, would... not have been a problem if I would?ve gotten my coffee. She came back with my daughters drink and asked me what I ordered again.I mentioned to her that I asked for a coffee, after about 20min when we saw her again I reminded her again about my coffee.Thank goodness I got my coffee before taking my last bite of my steak. Honestly I do not mind you trying to memorize our order uless you get it wrong or completely forget to bring it.! Nonetheless the food is great and I would definitely eat here again. Read more
Excellent breakfast. All the food was fresh and tasted amazing. Coffee was hot and strong. Staff is friendly and quick.... Restaurant very clean. Plus they open at 7am which is helpful when you're a tourist and have your day planned out. Willdefinitely return. Read more
Been a few years since I've been to Harbor and was excited to return while in San Diego. As always the breakfast and service was... excellent. I had the French toast and eggs with breakfast sausage today and it was just as tasty as I remembered. I'm alreadythinking about my next visit! Read more
This was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. Our server was extremely attentive, knowledgeable and very respectful of... our dietary needs. What's more, one of us forgot our phones after we left and she was kind enough to save it for us insidebefore we came back and retrieved it. I highly recommend this place for breakfast anytime you're visiting San Diego or if youlive there. Read more
The food was excellent as always, they do a great job of having fresh ingredients. I had the sausage omelette with hash browns... and toast. The service wasn?t at its best today (I frequent this place often) but I?m still giving it 5 stars because theyproactively did a good job at service recovery before I left. Love visiting this restaurant with innovative healthy menu options, plentiful food at reasonable prices. Today we had a bit of... a mixup on our order which was recognized and rectified fast. Love the ambience and the outside booth seating. Traffic doesn'tnecessarily make it a healthy environment but in today's pandemic times I'd rather be sitting outside than inside with no aircirculation. Read more
So glad to have this establishment in Little Italy to balance out the trendier-focused restaurants in the area. The food options... are plentiful and portioned to be filling. The dishes are classic breakfast food but with a will have a slighttwist/embellishment that makes the food uniquely Harbor Breakfast?s; for example, their Smoked Bacon omelette has blue cheeseand comes with a side of your choice (I got their beet and sweet potato hash browns) and choice of bread (biscuit with fig jam(no weird grape jelly here)).
